He has to pay 0.54 , so he won’t sell at that price as he makes diddly squat.

Ducky ...that must just be std , they'll exercise the options on the inevitable take out , when it comes , assuming success

As they have no holders patting them on the back they have decided to do it themselves

Yes sorry basic mistake they got to buy them at .54 p so ...

if Potter sells at 1p it's £207k ..at 5p it's £2 million at 10 p it's £4.75m

I suppose if it gets to 10 p and beyond that's not an excessive reward , putting it into perspective

However an option price higher than today's price , in the circumstances would have shown confidence , especially given their lack of purchases in the open market

Options do incentivise , but it would have been nice to see a bit of optimism ,with the option price say 1p at least

In all fairness I think Potts has been working his nuts off and we are where we are
because of him. Course I'm mega jealous and I think the timing sucks after a bad RNS yesterday
Quite what the other recipients have done I'm at a loss to know. I suppose if the venture fails they all get diddly squat. DF

Maybe we will start getting some RNS's with some meat on the bones. Am I being too cynical with my thoughts? Probably not.

TomCo Energy interims highlight progress in Utah joint venture

The Greenfield Energy venture made strides during the period, establishing production and more recently starting crude shipments

TomCo Energy PLC (LON:TOM) used its interim results to highlight progress made in Utah despite the challenges of the Coronavirus pandemic.

The company’s Greenfield Energy joint venture, with partner Valkor, established production from its pilot project at Petroteq’s oil sands plant (POSP) at Asphalt Ridge.

Results from POSP and encouraging findings from a recent draft Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) study support the company’s belief that the pilot could be repeated at commercial scale, in a purpose-built facility.

It has, indeed, advanced its plans as it's presently investigating the possibility of acquiring up to a 100% interest in a large oil sands site in Utah. The site is believed to be suitable for the construction of a potential initial commercial-scale plant.

At the same time, the Greenfield JV company is in the early stages of exploring possible financing opportunities for the project.

During the first half, ended March 31, TomCo raised some £3.5mln of funding through the issue of new shares priced at 0.45p.

Earlier this month, the company noted that it had made its first shipment of crude and that it was exploring transactions to sell-on sand processed at the POSP.

No revenues were reported for the first half of 2021. The company reported a £71.36mln loss for the six months.

The company said it had around £1.39mln of cash reserves as of June 21.

Had George Stapleton written or had written the announcements of past week, the market would probably have reacted by taking the share price to 2p.
Malcolm Groat's probable polite response might be NO COMMENT. OR.OR is there another agenda to which some investors may be privy? Hence some notable absences here.

Appreciate your view. But red lights are shining bright. Read today's offering - it is third rate - investors won't get margarine but a very nasty dose of salmonella. Having directors here is a total nonsense. This is a US project which needs to be run in the US by oil engineering experts who work alongside GS and SB. These guys are operators - who the hell are the UK bods - why so many - etc etc. Due respect but JP is a cake maker.
TOM needs to get into bed with these people and work through the overall objectives on a joint basis. Then TOM stands a good chance of a successful future which investors will comprehend and the market will react. May be the rules have to be rewritten so that there is joint PETROTEQ, VALKOR and TOM operation going on here. Eventually TOM is dissolved so investors get shares in PETROTEQ which can have its own GREENFIELD division. SB and GS BECOME DIRECTORS OF TOM whilst this is sorted out, JP remains as CEO to see a smooth transition. Groat and colleagues depart.
Overall this will be a win win for TOM, VALKOR AND PETROTEQ.
With this combined US approach raising funding / equity should be straightforward so long as we talk the talk ie BIG US STYLE!

I've been invested here for years and been contacted direct by company and asked for money it turned out much the same as now. So as I said I sold half my holdings and the others will go in the bottom draw maybe in the dim distant future they may see light again. In the meantime let's keep the boards bread buttered while they serve us margarine.

Seriously should you be tempted? Stick with what you have and have a parachute ready just in case. Time may be short and the captain is unfamiliar with the route.

In the long term I hope the investment will bear fruit. I am not invested for the quick buck or short-term. With the price being under my break-even, and having some available cash, for me there is a temptation to top-up. I am already heavily invested so will try and refrain from buying more. If you are not happy with how things are going then don't invest.

Why is it so tempting to top up when everything they do is as opaque as a toilet window.

It is quite clear that there will be no more Capital raising. So all the sellers can probably buy back cheaper, but GREENFIELDis on the right track now.

Selling on a day when WTI is now virtually $75. $74.82 the price.

Good for you. I wish I hadn't been so impatient when I was buying around the 0.65p mark a few days ago. Still my average for my lot is 0.638p, so shouldn't complain. No more topping up though, as tempting as it is.
