So, who is getting the money from the oil sale then? If it is TOM say so.

Agreed rmart. We need to approach the reason for the share price drop. It is all in the rns, written by directors that basically do not how to write an rns by not upsetting shareholders. How about:-

1. Finance. All they needed to say was that they are talking to financial institutions who are showing interest in investing. We do not envisage a fund raising.

2. The site was chosen as previous tests have demonstrated approximately 55 million barrels of oil, that would sustain 20 years of Oil production at 10,000 bopd. Plus large quantities of sand fetching a good price to reduce production costs.

We will update after due diligence.

The main problem still remains the CEO, he is unfit for purpose, does not know how to write an rns without bringing the share price down. So far his record is almost 100% on that score. Do we really want such a loser as CEO? ROLL ON THE AGM!

It would help if the board owned any shares.

Yeah, I mean who would have wanted a partnership with a renowned mining co working on a now proven oil sands project? On top of that, now with an interest in purchasing/ proving a full scale operation with their own land with a ready made up and running plant to bolt on the new tech! Enough of the sour grapes Andrew.

So we are saving millions of $$ and many months in time because of work already completed. Plus we save millions in royalties by owning the land.

An incredible deal met with an share price drop !

I think yesterday was a strange one and the rise will return, imo we should have smashed through a penny with that deal and I think we still will.

On 5,000 bopd at say 7% royalty to a land owner that is a saving of $151million over a 20 yr operation! Yes $151million.

based on $60 sale price x 7% = $4.20 per barrel x 5000bopd x 360 days operation.

Good job we have Damac on board folks, he must be the invisible NED, doing all the work and research, whilst TOM’s NED’s sit in the office, doing their work for them. Well, someone must answer the phone in the office. Never know when a bid might come along.

Thanks for info Damac.

Here's another video from those old days showing the amount of infrastructure installed. Crown were running 90-100 tons/hour but failed to commercialise. Hopefully the new method/technologies has addressed crushing the ore, separating the clay and sand etc etc. Game on.

The following link takes you to a Resource Report that was generated on Tar Sands II in 2013.

The table found on page 46 states that the combined barrels of bitumen (by volume) from the South A & D tracts totals 44,686,937 barrels.

I don't know if further tracts have since been evaluated and that's what brings the current estimated resource to 55m, or if it is a case of the CORT method, as an advancement in technology, is expected to yield more oil from the same quantity of ore.

Today is a great illustration of the barrel you are all shouting into. Nobody but you souls gives two hoots about this parody. If it was a proper business with the prospects you all believe, then you chaps would not be shareholders; private investors are only sought when those with proper money and insight want nothing to do with the story. So you have Tom, just a PI charade. $200k spent today just to keep the story going. The last piece of the preface to the next chapter in place, we are now set ready for the placing and its backstory. By the end of July at the latest!

Dont count on it Ducky
We have a fair way to go yet but with the land sorted we will be able to star progress at a pace.
I would like to have news on plant running at 250 a day and the news of financiers visiting the plant.

I think it wasn't included because the time to mention it will be on completion of the due diligence, when they announce that they are going ahead with purchasing the initial 10% of the company and the estimated resource on site is circa 55m barrels.

Sensible investors are getting out - why - management quality? Frankly JP and the others treat investors with contempt. Tom needs a GS to manage its 50% interest and gain investors' respect and TRUST!
