05/6/2021 14:41 | Ducky, for the umpteenth time, I do not work for Tomco, or Valkor, or Greenfield 🤣 | ![]() damac
05/6/2021 14:41 | jay .. If we did get 3p I would not be punching any walls and would probably go down the pub to celebrate. 3p is an upgrade for me, a week ago I'd have snapped your hand of for 1p. What would you sell for. DF | ![]() ducky fuzz
05/6/2021 14:38 | joeblogg2 In summary...... Greenfield (a joint venture between Valkor & Tomco) have completed their upgrades on the Petroteq POSP plant which they are currently managing and operating until the end of June. This arrangement may be extended until the end of the year. A production update is anticipated next week showing 250+ barrels of oil produced in a 12 hour shift. This is largely to satisfy (in conjunction with FEED) potential lenders of finance to Greenfield which would allow them to move on to building their own initial 5000 bopd plant and in time doubling that up to 10,000 bopd. Greenfield are expected to produce the front-end engineering design study (FEED). that proves up the commerciality of the project by end June/start of July. Greenfield are expected to conclude a land deal containing an estimated recoverable 55 million (ish) barrels of oil sometime between now & September. Greenfield are expected to reach financial closure sometime between now and September on the funds required (circa $95m) to build their own plant. Anticipated timescale for building the initial 5000 bopd plant is 12-15 months. | ![]() damac
05/6/2021 14:36 | DF The problem right now is that the traders would probably take 1p We could be at one of those moments where if left to run this share can really go places A takeover bid , if it came will always be at a premium but will it reflect potential ... Myself as a LTH ...doesn't want a bid right now ...we just wouldn't get a attractive price , as far as I'm concerned We need to be further down the road A takeout maybe a good result in the end as we all get the same price ...but 3p ....DF where's your ambition ? The multi billionaires heading up FB , Amazon etc didn't get rich by selling out early | ![]() jaynealex
05/6/2021 14:30 | As my Greek mate Stavros likes to point out....rfart is a TOTAL MALAKA | ![]() the chairman elect
05/6/2021 14:27 | Busamitch, total buying Petroteq for USA oil sands, reached 200 m shares so binning Africa project?????? | rmart
05/6/2021 14:26 | damac .. you probably can't answer, but do you happen to work for TOMco. | ![]() ducky fuzz
05/6/2021 14:24 | damac .. the large share holders don't have to sell if they don't want to. Do we know what percentage the large share holders have all together. Be interesting to see what they would do for a bid of 3p. How many here would take 3p ..... Got to think I would. DF | ![]() ducky fuzz
05/6/2021 14:24 | Fair enough damac, did not realise it was running on a wing and a prayer ;) | ![]() ajj2003
05/6/2021 14:22 | guys anyone summarise what is happening as always keep an eye on TOM and checked price and pleasantly surprised up? thanks in advance | ![]() joeblogg2
05/6/2021 14:19 | AJK2003 Or, that time may be better spent by the team moving on and concentrating on building their own plant without the distraction of running POSP, which despite its recent upgrades to demonstrate how the process can work efficiently, the plant has a lot of old components that won’t be included in the design going forward. The phrase has been used before that POSP was literally being “held together with sticky tape when Greenfield took over”. | ![]() damac
05/6/2021 14:18 | Could PQE be behind the German bid to get their share price up. Did you see they paid off a debt at about 0.139 .. not long ago they'd have been lucky to get 0.04 | ![]() ducky fuzz
05/6/2021 14:13 | I think the Petroteq offer will fail, even if it is genuine, the jury is still out on that. Correct me if I’m wrong, the offer to buy was posted on that German platform on 16th April. They have not yet been able to secure 46.5 million shares which would be the 10% reporting threshold for Canadian listed companies. | ![]() damac
05/6/2021 14:11 | In the meantime a six month extension operating the current plant will assist with ongoing expenses ;) | ![]() ajj2003
05/6/2021 14:08 | My only wish for now Ducky is that there is no approach to buy Greenfield or Tomco until after their initial plant is up and running, which is hopefully by year end 2022. In the meantime I’d like to see as much justified value being added to the share price as possible. | ![]() damac
05/6/2021 13:59 | A lot depends on all the large holders like damac and rmart. What do they see as their final outcome. What about all these warrant holders what would they want to happen. DF | ![]() ducky fuzz
05/6/2021 13:55 | Yes Vauch ,hostile approaches will probably pop up , let's hope the majority of shareholders by then see the long term opportunities here and therefore the long term value and don't give it away for a petty markup This road we're currently on ...leads to a place many multiples of 0.7p | ![]() jaynealex
05/6/2021 13:32 | Timing of the placement will be critical. | ![]() the diddymen
05/6/2021 13:19 | Well ill pop in and say the deep could be done with RF. I also think Valkor have taken a big slice of the leases and this will be put into the pot of Greenfield and Tom will also put the RF and leases in the pot. Greenfield will be to attractive an opportunity for the big players. | ![]() vauch
05/6/2021 13:18 | Madagascar Oil and Total drop Africa’s biggest oil sands project | ![]() busamitch
05/6/2021 13:14 | Ok Damac it all comes down to the £ numbers Valkor has its own leases and could buy more , it can buy licences for individual plants at 2m a bang and pay the 5% royalty So they can do the numbers on individual plants / leases The minute they farm anything out to Green field they " lose"50% of the income !! Correct me if I'm wrong ...Greenfield paid a one off 2 m and for developing the process they can use the IP on multiple plants just paying the 5% royalty with no further 2 m payments Tom needs the finance , first plant , lease and income to get to a " better place" , cash reserves , profit and strong balance sheet I can never see Tom.buying individual.leases as it hasn't got any experienced engineers , it's future is Greenfield ( ignoring it's own technology ) To me Valkor does have a choice...the JV Greenfield or buy and develop its own leases To be honest the JV has been a life saver for Tom , but why Valkor needed Tom , I just don't get ...unless it too was cash strapped and needed Tom's money initially Then again I'm suprised there was no loan finance for Tom.and they had to go the placing route But there again ...we are where we are !! Personally I hope the takeout of Petroteq fails and we move this forward a year with just the current parties involved But at some stage you'd have thought the big boys would want to play | ![]() jaynealex
05/6/2021 12:35 | Thanks guys. My head's a bit scrambled as the share price has gone up so much. I'll soon be in profit. DF | ![]() ducky fuzz
