Ducky, greenfield are not interested in the deep stuff. There's enough near surface ore to keep us busy!

How will they mine deep lying resources. The PQE method only works on surface ore
I think.

The CORT technology being used at POSP requires near surface mine-able resources to make if viable for sustained production runs and reduced production costs.

Valkor have a MOU with Hydrocarbon Dynamics Limited (HCD), see the relevant part from the PQE news release on 12th March 2020 below....

"On July 2, 2019, the Company announced that it had entered into a non-exclusive technology licensing agreement with Valkor LLC (“Valkor”;), a company based in Katy, Texas. The Agreement grants to Valkor the right to use Petroteq’s proprietary patented technology to engineer, construct, operate and finance oil sands extraction plants (individually, a “Plant”) to transform highly oil saturated feed ore recovered from mining operations to heavy crude. Under the Agreement, Valkor agreed to pay Petroteq a non-refundable license fee of US$2 million per Plant in two payments, with 50% payable upon start of construction of a Plant and 50% payable upon first production of such Plant. The Agreement further provides that Valkor will pay Petroteq a five percent (5%) royalty based on annual gross sales, excluding solvent and or water, for so long as licensed technology is covered by a valid claim in the country in which it is used.

Valkor has advised the Company that it has entered into a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Hydrocarbon Dynamics Limited (“HCD”), a company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, to complete a preliminary study to determine the feasibility to mine HCD’s oil sands within HCD’s Utah leases. To earn an interest in HCD’s Utah leases, Valkor will need to engineer, install and operate a Plant."

As I understand it, the leases that were bought up by Valkor earlier this year contain a mixture of both near surface mine-able resource and deep extraction mine-able resources. I further understand it that HCD is a company that is experienced in deep extraction mining.

So imagine the following as a scenario.....

On the leases that were taken on by Valkor, through their relationship with HCD, they will use them to extract the deep lying resources. The processing of these deep lying resources alongside any near surface resource would be farmed out to Greenfield with no requirement to pay any license as Greenfield already hold a multi site license from Petroteq.

The same could apply to any suitable HCD leases as mentioned in the above news release snippet.

I think the bb is busy today because we are upbeat with the share price going up

jay .. I would like to think that Valkor have bought these leases on behalf of Greenfield. Really don't see Valkor going it on their own. DF

Personally I think the big share price mover will be the lease signing. 55m barrels (i think Damac said) gives 18 to 20 yrs at 10,000 bopd. Massive income for TOM with the 50% share.

Market cap should not be anywhere close to £10m on those numbers!

I also beleive that the plant could be constructed and running within 12 months? Again I think others will know better than me on that?

Yes Ducky Valkor has its own leases to develop ... Toms aren't suitable

Valkor would have to pay for a licence but I'm sure that would be forthcoming

That's why I was worried about Valkor being the Petroteq predator ...why would they need Greenfield

Greenfield now need to buy a lease or leases to get things locked down

Before the big boys come snooping

Ducky, it is both. If you want long term I can see a big return. If you are a trader there are in and out opportunities with lots of shares with big amounts in issue.

Nothing goes up in a straight line as they say.

I have traded in and out a few times with a nice profit over the last month or two. I did this because the rises were based on chatter and nothing more so we got the rise and then the usual fall back. It was a good opportunity.

However, now after that interview and the facts emerging I thing those opportunities will not be there as much becuase facts on oil production, sand sales, 250b target, land lease, finance for plant are all due for release. So now there is more chance of getting caught out if trading. i.e, you sell and cannot get back in cheaper. It probably will happen for some but I now think it would be far too risky to take the chance.

Personally I see the share price moving towards 1.5p in the short term and money coming into the company from warrants. This will stop any placing talk and will show the warrant holders confidence.

All imo of course.

everready. I dont think it will. I think TOM is going to rise on its own plans. It will just give an interesting comparrison.

Ever it's just more PR / publicity , more people becoming aware of the process and potential and the financials

Once we're moving , Petroteq ( or it suitor ) , greenfield , Valkor and other 3rd parties who may pay to use licences , will be buying leases in Utah , building plants and producing oil

Then maybe a few big boys sniffing around

everready .. I don't think it will make much difference. Depends who is behind the bid and whether the bid is genuine. Greenfield has the rights to using the process in the US whoever controls PQE. DF
