Definitely looks negative |
No good news as this is Tomco. Ill rephrase that news from Tomco would be a miracle. If this is still listed by next AGM then expect the same old promises and let-downs. |
I am completely appalled at how the directors treat their shareholders. It is not shareholders responsible for current share price. I and a friend have written to the Chairman. No reply
I was in contact with JP, a few days before his unfortunate death. He was going to London to meet the NOMAD, to see if he could send out a circular, as he was blocked from writing an RNS, until the Bond money was in TOM’s bank. So, it is not all the company’s fault. The interims should be interesting. |
I had discounted it a little!
This dog will be put down shortly. |
Only £1m ? Not £1.17m? |
...and down she goes. Still looking over valued by about £1m. |
The current share price looks as if it is ready to slip again. |
"Paps, Hi, I am also surprised, these narrative companies have more legs than you give them credit for.
On another matter it looks as if Stuart Bromley has walked off with the company. If I remember correctly there was CAD$32m on the BS before the original delisting. There will no doubt be one or two hanging around hoping. Needless to say some of the CICC crew have also been shafted here."
👍 Spot on TD. |
Resorting to the adage of delaying bad news to the latest possible moment, I think that shareholders can safely assume that TOM had no effective key man insurance.
The interims will tell shareholders that the non-execs are working their b*lls off to deliver shareholder value but there has to be commercial uncertainty. String out the remining few pennies then call it a day. |
Fenners it will take a few minutes for the OR to confirm that there is no value in the balance sheet!

Hi TD. I'm surprised that TOM still exists! |
£6.3m of intangibles and investments .....
Good luck with putting a value to that whomever they are...
Bear in mind that if I remember correctly the land the 10% interest is in has been up for sale for 9 years + |
Fenners, where there are no assets the case will be passed to the Official Receiver who will be responsible for the liquidation. |
Can you imagine a liquidator looking at the 10% of a piece of scrubland asset ? Probably cost more in expenses going over to Utah , than they would get for it. Maybe there would be no one to take on the job , after all they are supposed to pay themselves first before anyone else..... |
"Vauch 24 Jun '24 - 07:57 - 31424 of 31425 Its is time the big holders stopped listening to the bull and called an EGM This has gone on for far to long and even I have lost faith in the co."
Meanwhile over here on the sensible thread , with reasons , we never had faith in the company.
Look at the lack of progress , look at the share price and dilution. We were right all along. |
Me too Vauch !!! |
Vauch You have a couple of chartered accountants on board - means you are in safe hands. |

F66, publishing the interims should be straight forward without the audit sign off. TOM will still use every last second.
The only question is whether TOM had taken out key director insurance. If they have, they will have bought time. If they have not there will be no miracles. |
Interims not subject to an audit though and as we have seen from the last 2 finals - getting them signed off by the auditors has been the problem. |
Interims must be reported within 3 months of the period end. That makes the reporting deadline 30 June 2024.
As ever with this bunch it will be the last day. Not sure if the rules would include 1 July, whatever it will be Friday or Monday, and there will need to be an update on the fundamental uncertainty of going concern. |
A couple of village idiots nipping in to buy there. |
I reckon a lot of MM’s games going on.but wtfdik |
