tup2 - I think most sane people have given up reading this BB -it's just the same people arguing the same points each day.

Either TLOU will find a way of commercialising its assets (pilot/RFP/offtake etc) or they wont. I personally think they will. Donkey et al think they won't.

Totally irrelevant to the share price what's written on here.

Looking forward to TG on vox today.

I love it that the loons over on LSE think that just because an asset manager based in Botswana invested client monies (in this case, Botswana pension fund money) that Tlou is very unlikely to fail with it strategy.

Their obvious implication is that local money would not be invested by anyone there unless they were sure it would succeed etc.

And they seem to neglect the contractual relationships in play here - BPOPF appoint AA to manage some of their money in accordance with an agreed investment manadate. AA invest money in accordance with that mandate ie suggesting an element (or maybe it must only be) invested in ‘local’ companies (which Tlou satisfies).

So AA manage the investment relationship with Tlou management. Not BPOPF.

The jump and the implication that LSE posters are making is totally flawed. But the herd just bleat away with the same old mantra. Mostly idiots imo.

RNS is all false and we should only believe proven liars like yourselves? Gotcha.

Blisters - keeping it original I see. Only I’ve answered the point which debunks your little clause.

One more thing, instead of twisting statements let’s stick to facts. I see you omit the part around IPPs, what’s Tlou again? Ah yes.. an IPP.

Its not me that saying that COAL and RENEWABLES are the only options being considered for all Botswana's future energy needs, it is the Chief Executive Officer of Botswana Power Corporation (BPC) Dr Stefan Schwarzfischer. So, you made your first purchase of TLOU shares at sub 4p - should have sold at 8p then shouldn't you - HA HA HA !

Blisters, I think coz Whendy tells us he bought sub-4p ( yeah right) that we all fall down and gasp and applaud him as the next TG protégé;s.

Him and his facts - he is an avid surfer for sure. If it is out there in the net, it’s a fact. If the company says it in an RNS, its a fact.

He appears to not yet realise much of the spin through 2017 is rapidly unravelling. But then again, facts are facts so him being a factual kinda guy will get it sooner or later. Then simply he will just go real quiet....

Hold plenty here Blisters, must be long term given my first purchase was sub 4p so how did I manage that one?

Shows the extent of your research it’s all hinged on one thing? Good work!

Not sure how government awarding a mining license a few months back for CBM, granting EIA for CBM and offering a retender for CBM for upto 100mw means they don’t want CBM lol.

Lastly, as I stated earlier. 300mw coal plant for morupole fell flat on its face and 100mw solar tender post 160 tender submissions hasn’t gone anywhere. Yet you tel us they want coal and renewables?

Can you explain your logic? I’d call that double standards! Keep trying ladies!

That is most interesting Donks. So, the Botswana Government said some supportive words about CBM THREE YEARS AGO, and nothing since. And the most recent pronouncement from the CEO of BPC LAST MONTH made no mention whatsoever of CBM. Highlighting COAL and RENEWABLES as the only 2 options being considered by the BPC and BOTS Government for all of the country's future energy needs. Facts are Facts Whendy and you and your Fanboys are toasted crumpets. Elsewhere, I see the eff-off brigade are back on this board and the other one. This is where LiarTidd is right on the money. What a bunch of bully-losers. A question for you Donks, after we ascertained that Whendy was a paid ramper for SCAP or somesuch other spiv outlet, have you noticed this - of all the thousands of posts and drivel written by Whendy/Tidd, he has never stated that he is a long term holder. He never says he has topped-up (himself), in fact I seriously believe that he has no TLOU shares at all. Just a hired hand to con PI's into losing their savings and pensions in this disaster fiasco??????

Yup the Ministry did say that - back in 2015. Email me and I will send you the slide from the presentation. And it was explained as fairly vital and important then, so much so that we have a re-tender situation in February 2018. Which will probably lead to, if there is a prevailing wind at our backs, an award under the 100Mw being announced Dec 2018; otherwise we have 6 weeks minimum Govt shut down and Guess what, before you know it, the October 2019 will interject and that will become the reason for further delays and and and and and and .... until there is no more and. Switch off the lights please !!

Of course you would Blisters, whatever you say.

On the flip side, the ministry has categorically stated they wish to include CBM in the energy mix going forward and as much was stated by the minister himself.

The mining and minerals act has been amended for the benefication of gas exploration and the government have put out the RFP for 100mw which is still available.

You however didn’t buy at any of those points but now tell us you’d have bought if the ceo of BPC (Which is state backed) had mentioned a word?

Lol.

Whendy, unlike you, I believe that when big hitters, people of influence and power, individuals who make the decisions speak, it is important to listen to what they say. It is equally important to listen to what they do not say. But let me put it this way. If the CEO of the Botswana Power Corporation had mentioned coal bed methane in his speech then I would have bought some TLOU shares there and then. But, unlike you I would have sold them all after making 30%. And unlike you, again, I would have made a profit. But, sadly for you and all the other fanboys, CBM is clearly not on anyone's strategic energy solution requirements in Botswana now or in the future.

maybe they will start some drilling in June. anyone know if they have a drilling programme so we might then estimate when more information and possible reserves update could appear. these things normally take quite a few months so just wondered if we are actually going to see any material change in reserves this year.

So if it’s all about coal and renewables why did the 300mw coal expansion for morupole fall flat on its face?

Also why has the proposed 100mw solar project that over 100 tenders were put in for not been signed off.

Does that mean Botswana don’t want coal or solar either?

See how illogical your arguments are?

Amazing progress; so many great partners and backers. Still no Offtake, even the retender process that was indicated by management as hearing in a few weeks is 8 weeks and counting (there goes 2018). Yet more talk (as always) about amazing potential - sometime this needs to be translated into commercial execution and earning $$$, rather than always spending $$$.
We will never agree - that much is obvious. Who cares.
