That's a very good question Donkey. It is peculiar. Come to think of it, Tidd/Whendy appears to be employed to ramp this share to Kingdom Come. The frequency of posts and constant re-hash of old drivel makes that most likely. Probably working for Scap or some other spiv outfit. Buzzy boy is a fanatic. Tlou has become his religion and merely froths each time his fingers hit the keyboard. The rest are just PI's who are about to be fleeced. What was it Kenners used to say? Bought at 6 sold at 8. RFP delay; Reserves upgrade good but no impact on price; multiple Offtakes sounds great and without gas to power being delivered to BPC, this pup of a company will NEVER mature into a fine upstanding mutt. It would be far more likely that TG will simply walk away rather than put more of his own Reserves made money at risk. Botswana is for the long loooong looooooong haul, so get your heads around it folks. It isn’t the dream ticket you all cracked it up to be throughout 2017 - 4 months of 2018 gone and still no material commercial prospects in sight !!

You seem to think you have all the answers but no evidence to back it up? You have no idea what will be raised as a collateral piece if infact anything? Perhaps it will run a rate of interest that may be somewhat inflated initially as per the pilot but still within their modelling? Unless you can categorically state something as truth then air your view as an opinion, because - that is exactly all it is.

No, I cannot. But anyone with a brain knows that major debt financing will require an equity component. So since you have one - use it!!
Start talking about this company in the likely way the financing for major expansion will play out - rather than think scoring points against me matters (it doesn’t).
If they manage to sell it on a Reserves story, brilliant well done and that would be somewhat of a miracle (given the way things are slowly progressing). So since that is increasingly a long shot (or even if it isn’t), the alternative is going DiY so TG and team are in for the long haul. What does the longe haul mean - then we have a topic worth conversation.
The quarterly was a pile of fluff in reality - more ifs buts and maybes about what potentially lies ahead if all goes well. That is real risk, doubly or more so since it is in Africa.

Oh dear, another 4.85% down on the quarterly update. HejHogg's totally fantastic IR email did not help either. That's fantastic within the realms of pure fantasy. What a load of made up drivel. Still, on the upside PI's here are happy to wait 3, 4, 12 years for a return displays a level of masochistic slow motion personal wealth destruction not seen since 1929 and the Wall Street Crash.

Ok so the quarterly update is published, and a few of the regulars have commented. Tidd - if the one sentence you highlight is all we need to know, why has it taken the re-tender process to crystalline this now? They could have been working on this concurrently with RFP, and whilst they were waiting to hear from October onwards.
Profitbagger nails it pretty well I believe - trying to make things sounds bigger and better than commercial reality, years from real meaningful production and a slow meandering path likely ahead for next while.

“An offtake agreement is not vital for the Company to commence development, as the Company can connect to the local grid and sell electricity into the regional spot market in any case.” The one sentence that tells you all you need to know.

And, as always, Bus Boy impresses with his contribution - ‘try actually reading it’. What a total tool bag.
