15/9/2009 18:16 | Don't think we'll get an offer? I think that it is one of the existing large shareholders increasing their stake, possibly Boulle? | nelly23
15/9/2009 17:55 | William, what kind of offer will we have.... | landwatcher
15/9/2009 17:26 | Most likly an offer will be on the table in due time. | william-just
15/9/2009 16:46 | 231,510 shares sold today and someone picked up all of them in 2 transactions - 71,500 @ 7.25 and 160,000 @ 7.0 = 230,500 shares. No wonder the price is holding, despite the less than fantastic interims, someone is just mopping up all the sells and they have been doing it for the last week or so! Anyone got any ideas on who? why? | nelly23
14/9/2009 15:05 | I think its once they are over 3% they have to annouce for each 1% increase or decrease. | bones30
14/9/2009 14:45 | They only need to issue an RNS when a holder increasing/ decreasing stakes crosses over a certain threshold. Not sure what these thresholds are and what time limit is for reporting these changes in substantial shareholdings? Can anyone advise on this? | nelly23
14/9/2009 14:38 | nelly23, if it is large shareholder increasing their shares, there must be a RNS saying so. That puzzles me as we did not have any RNS and that operation did not look like dealing between MMs. | landwatcher
14/9/2009 14:19 | Landwatcher, the same person that's been buying up this stock for the past week or so! They've picked up at least 1.5 million shares today, not to mention what they accumulated last week. I would guess it's one of the existing large holders increasing their stake? What we need to know is...WHY?? | nelly23
14/9/2009 14:09 | who paid that high price to buy 500k shares | landwatcher
14/9/2009 14:02 | I think they are buys, i'm getting 6.52p to buy online and 6.28p to sell. Think it's had it's fun despite the broker upgrade. | 8trade
14/9/2009 14:00 | Yet again someone is just hoovering up all the sells, this might end up in the blue by close? | nelly23
14/9/2009 11:41 | I would hope they would be aiming to get somewhere near the $35 million that they have stated necessary for the rebuilding of D2? In the update released on 19th Jan, they also mentioned that they would pursue business interuption insurance as well as the property damage insurance. This claim could be significantly higher if you take into account the tonnage lost to date and the tonnage shortfall that will continue until D2 is back on line. I would imagine that the actual level of business interuption is very difficult to define and this is what is probably drawing out the claim process? | nelly23
14/9/2009 09:55 | If Zurich were the second largest reinsurers and paid within 30 days as per the RNS of April 15th, presumably this is the $3.5 million, so any idea how much insurance money they will get in total? In Dec 2008 results they stated "reduction of production levels for the year ahead in order to more closely align output with anticipated demand." but now "The Company has fully sold under contract all production for 2009 as well as almost all production for 2010. We are confident that demand for our product significantly exceeds our current production capacity" so that looks pretty good. | wolstencroft
14/9/2009 09:30 | looking to take another punt at 5p | william-just
14/9/2009 08:58 | And the big buyer is at it 500k at 7.75 but looking at the drop I think that is the fill of the order for now. | william-just
14/9/2009 08:45 | nelly23, I suspect that we will be back to 4p level... | landwatcher
14/9/2009 08:37 | No announcement on the insurance but other than that I think the results are quite positive and they seem to be heading in the right direction. No suprise to see selling this morning but the price seems to be holding up quite well at the moment, wonder if our big buyer is still here - I guess we'll find out at 4.30? | nelly23
14/9/2009 08:12 | The result is not surprising. So the insurance is still in claiming. I hope that will not last too long... | landwatcher |
