And some the day before that someone has picked up 150k on the quiet now well not so quiet as we spotted it :) Lets see how many they are after. What that means is don't give them any.

AW

Yes really weird 10,009 then 10,010, 10,011, 10,012, 10,013, 10,014, 10,015.

Very odd if you ask me. Are they trying to stay below the radar ?

They just stick out like a sore thumb.

Why are peole buying in 10ks - to get a better price ? Not really worth it with dealing costs but it does save a bit on the price as they will want a premium for bigger buys.

Very tightly held share - just the way I like it :-)

Chris Mortimer - the geo, died of a heart attack & the dredger capsized within 24 hours of each other - I think CM died before the dredger capsized.

Did the dredger actually sink the day the share was suspended?

Also
big fall in share price from 17p was due to a sunk (and out of action) dredger, so the Feb 6 2010 news (post 1496) is heartening (means they can get back to full dredge production by year-end?)

tightly held share as 1 director upped his holding considerably last year I seem to recall

Not long to end of feb insurance trial. Out of interest which country is this trial to be held?

I think the market is pricing in no insurance payout currently.

Also this month:

Sipping from a cup of tea in London's upmarket Fortnum & Mason department store on the eve of the investment forum, John Sisay, the Chief Executive of Titanium Resources, Sierra Leone's larget private sector employer, begins his assessment of the country's private sector development prospects with an ominous warning.

Dredging equipment manufacturer IMS has confirmed that Titanium Resources (Sierra Rutile Division) recently acquired a new IMS Model 7012 HP Versi-Dredge with booster pump and pipeline.

Once commissioned this spring, it will reduce negative impact of mineral slime problems at the Lanti South Pond which have affected production volumes during the last year.

Later in the current year, it is anticipated that the Versi-Dredge will be deployed to increase overall production at the Mogbwemo tailings area which contains a mineral resources of approximately 18 million tonnes at an average rutile grade of 0.94 per cent.

After a good and reassuring RNS we appear to be on the move again with some steady buying.
