Unlikely to be a takeover, at least not yet. Today's trading volume accounts for well under 1% of the market cap. It's much more likely that one or two of the larger institutional shareholders are trading the price up so that their year-end fund values and performance look better than they otherwise would.

I'm expecting a trading update in early / mid January which confirms that TRX is trading at break-even or a small profit.

This is one of those shares to tuck away and be patient, it'll reward handsomely.

GSG. Thanks. You may be right. But the fall just seemed a bit overdone, considering it had been pushing the 0.8 level some time before the directors' purchases. Appeared that mm's were just mindlessly leading it down in tiny volume.....and moreover - on no negative news.
