Completion of phase one of new US facility expansion project

Tissue Regenix (AIM: TRX), the regenerative medical devices company, announces the completion of phase one of its expansion plans, which increases manufacturing capacity at its San Antonio Texas facilities. The San Antonio facilities include the Company's existing facility and a 21,000 sq. ft facility adjacent on which it has a ten-year lease.

The Company announced on 18 March 2021 that it had completed the initial part of its expansion project. Overall, phase one was completed both on time and on budget.

The remaining aspects of phase one consisted of expanding the space for supporting administrative departments, which has taken place in the Company's leased facility adjacent to its existing facility, and building and qualifying two additional clean rooms, which are in the Company's existing facility. The two clean rooms are being used for the processing and packaging of tissue products, bringing the Company's total number of clean rooms to seven. Relocation of the supporting departments to the adjacent facility has also created additional expansion opportunities for production and quality functions in the Company's existing facility.

Daniel Lee, Chief Executive Officer of Tissue Regenix Group plc, said: "The completion of our phase one expansion plans on time and on budget is excellent news, and provides us additional capacity and flexibility in line with our projected growth in our different target markets. Staging our expansion was a prudent opportunity to meet our demand and capacity needs in an efficient manner."

As you say, it's about time we all had some good news that will lift the share price up and away from the present levels

On a personal note, then I still hold 37500 shares bought @ 20.9375p 11th April 2016, which cost me £7851.56p (that money - Friday 25th June 2021 - would buy 1,232,390 shares)

It makes me laugh/cry when I see shareholders moaning that they have to wait until the share price gets over a 1p for them to break even !!

Non-executive director, acquired 3,436,085 Ordinary Shares in the Group at a price of 0.6 pence. Looks like they are getting ready for great news flow. Expect RNS soon.

In which case, my mistake. This is actually my largest position so I’m keen to see the company succeed and it’s fantastic to see directors invest in the open market. See very little downside given cash and inventory, uptake of elective surgery again and facility upgrades. Some news around the white label product/other streams would be welcome.

binglem. Not sure that different rules DO apply to non-execs - a director is a director with the same access to price sensitie infomation.

Not necessarily now as the recent director buy was a non exec buy - different rules apply. Great show of support from the board though in the last month or so.

Just looked back to last year and the Results for year ending December 2019 were announced on the 5th June 2020.

2nd September 2020, Interim Results were announced

Next three months could not only be interesting, but share price moving as well

contact2fsnetcouk - thank you, and whilst I am sure the Glenmorangie will hit the right spot, but unfortunately recovery may not be possible. However, I had a word with "Big G" upstairs and I am hoping he already has enough troublemakers up there at the moment, and that he doesn't want another one just yet, so won't be calling for me for a while longer.

On a brighter note, then I am thinking along the same lines as yourself, and hoping we may get a trading update sometime soon - let's hope so.

CP - I'm sure you are almost, if not, fully recovered and I hope that the Glenmorangle hits the right spot.

June 30 sees the half year and I'm hopeful of a trading update in the weeks that follow especially one that would benefit all holders.

Having just got out of hospital after being in there for 2 weeks, then I have seen that they have started doing quite a few operations again. So hopefully TRX are experiencing demand for their products picking up now, especially over in the USA, and hope we get some news soon.

On the anticipation of our thoughts being right, and news is not too far away, I am topping up here today. Not only that, I have just treated myself to a very expensive Glenmorangie single malt (47.3%) to celebrate the forthcoming 'turn around' - fingers crossed then guys.

I'm waiting patiently for this share to gather pace but, at the back of my mind, I get the feeling it will not break out until COVID is well and truly on it's way out. It might be a residue at the mo but there seems to be a lingering uncertainty that took it down, among other reasons, in the first place.
