02/1/2020 16:01 | Well Woodford have just finished in Eve, so maybe us next | jrlomax
02/1/2020 15:58 | Maybe a couple more weeks of this (copy of my post 4735) Read a small article in the newspaper a week or so ago whereby they are trying to liquidise as much as possible of Woodfords Funds by the 15th January with a view of starting to pay out to the holders of those Funds from 18th January. I was thinking therefore we might see more "heavy" selling activity over the next couple of weeks and will it be our last opportunity of adding at these low prices, or even a bit lower. Thereafter can we hope to see the long awaited rise from here !! Time will tell. Good Luck, and a Happy New Year to all holders here. | channel pirate

01/1/2020 19:39 | Equity Recapitalization In an equity recapitalization, a company issues new equity shares in order to raise money to be used to buy back debt securities. The move can benefit companies that have a high debt-to-equity ratio. A high debt-to-equity ratio puts an additional burden on a company, as it must pay interest on its debt securities. Higher debt levels also increase a company’s risk level, making it less attractive to investors. Therefore, a company may seek to reduce its debt burden by issuing new equity shares and using the money raised from that to pay back a portion of its current debt. YES correct, also a possibility. this is done to pay back debt. What debt do TRX have?...my research says 2.7m? i take this to be 2m from the first tranche and 0.7 from the drawn revolver both supplied by Midcap.Does it make sense for them to request payback from share issuance before lending more? i dont think so...but its only an opinion. | holycow1
01/1/2020 17:20 | Are you parker on lse? Anyway i dont want this to fall i am invested and would love 3p but in being realistic time will tell what happens | stocktrend2
01/1/2020 17:18 | There are many types of recapitalisation you have stated one as you prefer this but fact is there is also equity recapitalisation | stocktrend2
01/1/2020 16:39 | So you are saying that Midcap have said to TRX go and get a placing before we part with our money? Their are many ways to restructure a company. hxxps://corporatefin Attention to... Leveraged Recapitalization In a leveraged recapitalization, the company replaces part of its equity with additional debt and thereby changes its capital structure. One form of leveraged recapitalization might be a company issuing bonds to raise money. A company may resort to leveraged recapitalization if its share price declines. In this case, the company may issue debt securities to fund buying back its outstanding shares in the market. By reducing the number of outstanding shares, the company expects to increase the per share price. | holycow1
01/1/2020 16:32 | Holy in the interview he said they have a good relationship with midcap and this has given them the impetus to have a dialogue with their broker on how they can restructure the company so yes they did more or less say this | stocktrend2
01/1/2020 16:24 | They have stated they are looking at funding options and talking to their broker...now if it is not regarding a placing what could it be about? I don't think they have stated they are talking to their broker regarding funding? (Happy to be corrected) | holycow1
01/1/2020 16:14 | But of course this is only my opinion...and I could be totally wrong!! | holycow1
01/1/2020 16:11 | Recapitalization is shifting the ratio between equity and debt. Recapitalization can take various forms... Sorry you will have to do same as me, wait and see. I am optimistic and see it as a positive. | holycow1 |
