Posted at 24/1/2025 13:34 by simon follett Funny. US LNG exports hit record highs recently and is set to continue until the US gas price normalises with the rest of the world. Trump thinks both gas production and LNG exports will increase and prices to remain low, however the opposite of prices is true. |
Posted at 23/1/2025 18:12 by simon follett We are overdue an update from EEL, but they remain delisted. The longer it takes to relist the more valuable EEL becomes. If Oando want to buy the remaining shares it is best to do it sooner. US shale gas peaked in 2024 and is currently on a plateau, while global oil will peak in around 2028, hence prices will rise significantly once the peaks have been reached. BTW "peak demand" is nonsense and will never happen. Trumps "drill baby drill" programme will have limited bearing on the geological peaks of gas and oil. |

Posted at 11/1/2025 13:23 by bahamasoil I think relisting as EEL is off the table.More likely is an attempt to list Oando Energy Resources Inc as a separate entity and in the process attempt to reduce the EEL content below the current percentage. This will be determined as the future ownership/licences of OML 122 and the OPLs are clarified. |
Posted at 11/1/2025 04:24 by simon follett In 2008/9 we saw the gas price go down with EEL's share price as US shale gas production took off, now we are seeing the reverse. The gas price is rising as consumption outstrips shale gas production, increasing EEL's valuation. We could see the Henry hub gas price climb past $10 within a year and an increasing oil price won't be far behind as shale oil production starts to firmly plateau. Yesterday gas hit $4 again and Brent oil hit $80. |

The market is favouring these stocks suggesting the idea of corruption is losing ground spectacularly. Of course we are hopefully expecting EEL to relist this year making it an extra good year. There is still room to see further gains in various markets including the brent oil price. |
