Well said TBH. The pieces are all coming together and I believe more quickly than we may have previously thought. First funding rounds (ie this one due in December) closed to new parties at the end of November...tick tock

Aim provides a mechanism for shareholders to have liquidity and I expect the aim valuation to be at a discount to the funding rounds. However, this should narrow over time

Investors in these situations have made substantial returns - with winners more than paying for the duds. As Richard states, the due diligence process is taking place, so if management has done its homework, then funding should be forthcoming at a higher price than previous transactions

We need to see a couple of things to get this ball moving again:-

Confirmation of the funding terms
Move away from AIM to a more respected market - main market listing, or build on US listing

If the next funding round (the one completed this month) is North of 157p I will donate £100 to any charity of your choice TBH.

There is no counter party to this, if it is South of 157p (which is will be) you do not have to do anything.

The funding round is independent of London and will attract investors who are interested in the potential of the “product”;, and I imagine that there will be a valuation model supporting the plan. Tintra have successfully brought on board a leading AI specialist team and it all looks set for the delivery of the plan. I’m expecting funding price to be north of 157p

AIM will trade at whatever price suits the MMs here. If they can drop the price 10% on a single sell of just £1,000 then it's totally subjective how prices move here rather than objective (assuming there isn't a large undeclared sell to be printed). As to the placing price, who really knows, company says aiming for higher than previous ones, that's all we know.

Aim price is likely to trade at a discount to financial models which will be in tune with business model and achievement of milestones. I am still expecting to see a price north of 157p

I doubt the price has been decided yet. It could well be set at the average of the last 30 trading days (or something like that) which would explain the suspicious price activity of late.

Or... they got the placing away at £1 a share is also possible.

I know which I think is more likely.

The board of directors of Tintra (the "Board") is pleased to announce that further to the announcement of 4 November 2021 (the "Announcement"), the Company's fundraising plans are proceeding in a positive manner.

The Board has presented to certain High Net Worth Investors and Family Offices and received soft commitments for the raise that are now in negotiations to finalise terms (although there can be no assurance that these will be successfully finalised). It is the Board's plan to raise between US$10m and US$15m during the current round (the "Funding Round"), with the first tranche of at least US$5m planned to be closed by before the end of December. As set out in the Announcement, it is the Board's intention that the Funding Round will be closed at a premium to other transactions completed during 2021.
