The dire nature of the UK stock market encapsulated in one share.... Despite good trading momentum and a solid balance sheet and clearly working strategy, the market is only interested in thinking an apocalyptic gloomy future where all lenders endure massive deliquiencies and losses on their loans next year.

Excellent results with PBT slightly ahead of the previously upgraded numbers. Momentum continuing with a positive Q1 and confidence on meeting current 2024 guidance of £5m PBT and 4.2p EPS.Cash continues to be plough into the biz but DIv's remain under review.

Lending Book grows to all-time high of more than GBP175m

Time Finance plc, the AIM listed specialist finance provider, is pleased to provide the following update on the performance of its lending book portfolio. Increasing the Company's own-book lending forms a key pillar of the Group's medium-term growth strategy, announced in June 2021, which targets a more than doubling of the lending portfolio by 31 May 2025.

The Company also confirms key dates in the 2023 financial calendar.

Own-book lending growth continues in line with medium-term strategy

As at 31 August 2023, the unaudited value of the Group's lending portfolio reached a record high of GBP175.8m, ahead of the level expected by management at this stage of the four-year medium-term plan. The lending portfolio stands 4% higher than the 31 May 2023 financial year-end level of GBP168.9m and 18% up on the prior year equivalent level of GBP142.9m as at 31 August 2022.

Notice of Results, Investor Presentation and Annual General Meeting

As announced on 29 June 2023, the Group is planning to announce its audited annual results for the year ended 31 May 2023 on Tuesday 26 September 2023. The Company will also provide an update in respect of trading in Q1 2023/24 at that time.

Chief Executive Officer, Ed Rimmer, and Chief Financial Officer, James Roberts, will deliver a live presentation relating to the audited annual results and the Q1 trading update via the Investor Meet Company platform at 1.00pm BST on 26 September 2023. The presentation is open to all existing and potential shareholders and questions can be submitted at any time during the live presentation via the Investor Meet Company dashboard. Investors can sign up to Investor Meet Company for free and add to meet Time Finance plc via: . The Company is also proposing to hold its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 7 November 2023. The notice convening the AGM will be published in due course.

Thanks, currently the shareholders are relying on the market to appreciate the capital growth. A dividend does underpin the value and show that the company has shareholders interests in mind. I think a dividend is also a useful discipline for management. As I see it. Imho.

DIVIDENDS
At the current time, under the strategy published in June 2020, cash reserves are being deployed for business growth. This approach to future dividends is kept under regular review and any change to the policy would be notified at that point in time.
