27/7/2020 08:31 | On the one hand thermal cameras are of limited effectiveness but on the other they could have a collateral positive effect upon demand for Thruvision units in airports and other transport hubs. Coronavirus: thermal cameras give poor picture of health Thermal-imaging cameras of the kind being installed at businesses, airports and hospitals are an unreliable way of screening and give a false sense of security, researchers have said. The cameras detect heat radiating from an individual’s skin and are designed to judge quickly whether someone is infectious. However, the results may be too variable to be useful. Interest in the devices is soaring: Flir, the largest player in the field, recorded camera sales of $100 million in the first quarter of this year, with the devices costing $2,000 to $15,000, or higher. Thermal cameras measure skin temperature to within half a degree but not core body temperature, meaning that in cool environments such as air-conditioned airports skin-surface temperatures will probably be lower. Some insist that the purpose of thermal cameras is not to detect, but to act as an initial screening system. “People who are identified as having an elevated skin temperature can then be evaluated using additional tools or told to take a test,” said Chris Bainter, director of global business development for Flir. 23/7/2020 07:18 | We don't hear much from the company, but thanks to it's twitter feed we can see that centresoft the UK's leading video game distributor is the latest signing up for the tech. The Birmingham based operator is utilising Thru's camera tech for safe security checks from distance. With ever more online shopping and increased distribution centres there must be increasing significant opportunities for Thru. | hastings
17/7/2020 12:40 | Nice to see a bit of buying today and a move northwards. Reasonable to assume, that the recent positive news on increased interest in its screening tech has continued. | hastings
03/7/2020 16:13 | Good to have your company Mas and thanks for posting on the impressive list of Institutional holders.I'm pretty comfortable with this one despite the obvious (at present) speculative nature.Right place at the right time springs to mind and a very decent cash position against the burn.May well need some patience, but I think this could do well! | hastings
02/7/2020 15:26 | Very quiet here at present! Some decent buys gone through this pm however. | hastings
25/6/2020 15:14 | Very recent position for me, speculative obviously, but the current situation could prove extremely positive for THRU moving forward, a well funded growth prospect in the right spot. | hastings
23/6/2020 22:07 | Tom B owns 14m shares and the ceo has a decent chunk plus 2.5m plus share options. The share register is one of the best I have seen for a small co. They would only raise funds and get support for it if they found an amazing earnings enhancing deal. | slicethepie
22/6/2020 16:59 | Expansion, % for directors / II's. This is AIM remember, I believe this will give shareholders are good return to investment ratio, but don't underestimate the big plays and there tactics...My opinion only. | itshenderz
22/6/2020 15:57 | No need for a placing they have lots of cash available GBP8.4 million... | bprofit
22/6/2020 15:36 | We won't see any RNS regarding a TR-1 imo, there's only very small free float, as most shares are owned by institutional investors. (II's). Lots of background 'sells/buys' you see are swaps from one to another. If that 4m was an OT would the price level be flat? Probably not. A placing is unfortunately what will happen here in order to allow the 'majors' to build up a higher position, and perhaps frighten the very few privvys who are holding. You see what I'm getting at? I'll be adding more on the dip as have reviewed this company in depth. All imvho Dyor | itshenderz
22/6/2020 15:22 | The trade code for this transaction was put through on the Dublin exchange. (Which we know are very close partners to the US). Looks to me like a swap (interbank) Hence no buy/sell. Just my opinionDyor | itshenderz
22/6/2020 13:09 | Another 4 million off book this morning, seems something is happening in the background, surprised with no RNS yet... | bprofit
19/6/2020 14:44 | 3.5% of coy changed hands (e&oe) - Should be a holdings rns on Monday (assuming matched sells/buys) If all sells going to one yet undeclared institutional buyer then some 7% - Interesting | pugugly

17/6/2020 11:29 | Some comments on stockopediathis morning referring to an analyst buy rating. On yahoo finance it suggests a buy price target of 43pence but cant see which analyst announced this target and when the note was released? | bprofit

03/5/2020 09:14 | Bournemouth airport have been the first to install remote temperature scanners to monitor passengers, supplied by HIK Vision, a wholly owned Chinese company. If this is to be rolled out to all UK airports post COVD, it would be preferable if these could be supplied by a UK company, Thruvision, who I assume can supply scanners to do the same testing. | busters
