20/11/2024 13:14 | Even more reassuring that herald bought more given Tom black is one of their Ned's. | slicethepie
12/11/2024 12:40 | Reassuring that two large holders are supportive of the business and at a decent premium. | slicethepie
08/11/2024 09:13 | My issues with THRU are more centred around: per half year: £2m revs Gross profit £1m Admin expenses £3.2m Maintaining the expectation of £9m for the FY. On the upside there is the chance they announce a big H2 order. But I doubt it can be delivered in H2, so revs will disappoint. In the meantime cash and equivs at £1.8m are rapidly depleting, hence all the share price weakness. So really it comes back to whether Pentland Capital Limited (the investment business of Pentland Group) who supported the 2023 raise at 23.5p, taking £2.5m of the £3.2m raised are still supportive and at what price. For me, the future promise is great….but it's still a long way from breakeven. It likely needs a couple of raises yet, so it will be all about the price. | gb904150
07/11/2024 22:20 | Should the fact that Trump has won the election lead to better border security and hence benefit THRU? | gerihatrick
17/10/2024 08:52 | He already has one - Suspect a bid - even a low ball one - would be welcomed by those locked in because of the weight of their holdings. | pugugly
17/10/2024 08:19 | They definitely have a number of products but they are too small, hence the tie up with sensormatic. I still think they end up being acquired . Tom black will not want to end his career on a failure | slicethepie
16/10/2024 11:35 | This seems like a company scrabbling around for business with no real strategic direction. Every company in the world talks of a strong pipeline!Wish I had never invested | philwalker36
16/10/2024 08:00 | I suspect Evans was pushed on the basis that he has not delivered, normally you would stay on for at least 3 months. This needs to be part of a larger business so surprised that didn't announce a strategic review. | slicethepie
14/10/2024 11:06 | A soft HY trading update from the leading international provider of walk-through security technology. Revenue is expected to be £1.9 million down from H1 2024: £3.5 million, while the current order backlog is £0.3 million which is down from H1 2024: £1.0 million. Management indicated that Full year revenue is dependent upon the timing of significant contract awards, which is unpredictable. However, inventory lead times mean that there is likely to be a modest slippage of revenue into the next financial year. The Board now expects revenue for the full year ending 31 March 2025 to be approximately £9 million up from FY24: £7.8 million, but significantly below consensus expectations of £11.5m...from WealthOracle wealthoracle.co.uk/d | martinmc123
14/10/2024 08:46 | Progressive note suggests still loss making next year - Still grossly over valued (imo) - Could Private Equity be interested? Unlikely (imo) at current market cap. | pugugly
14/10/2024 07:00 | I think the only hope is a takeover as they clearly need to be part of a bigger entity. As a listed company they have done nothing to attract new investors and their broker doesn't publish its research. Not the ending the dream team from Dettica was expected to deliver with Colin jumping ship!, | slicethepie
14/10/2024 06:47 | Trading update not (imo) encouraging - Need to get out there and turn interest into sales - share price performance and lack of postings on this thread suggest well below potential investors radar although continuous increase in shop lifting and knife crime should be a sellers market. | pugugly
15/7/2024 17:41 | So they are ours? If so I would have thought it might warrant a REACH announcement just to show that sales are making progress. | pugugly
15/7/2024 17:23 | I don't think it's a new initiative Pug, McDonald's first introduced it back in late 2022 in Tameside. | hastings
15/7/2024 17:01 | McDonald's restaurant in south London installs metal detectors at the entrance amid growing fears over knife crime in the capital Could these be ours? If not why not? | pugugly
30/5/2024 07:42 | Excellent deal, wonder where this leads ? If they get traction sensormatic will want control | slicethepie
13/5/2024 07:38 | Wrong thread | pugugly
11/5/2024 09:17 | Certainly out of favour with Mr Market -With increased shop lifting - knife crime - illegal immigration etc should be a sellers market but the silence is deafening. | pugugly
10/5/2024 18:47 | 225K dumped at 14p - Someone apart from myself lost confidence or knows something. | pugugly
26/4/2024 07:10 | The fact that we are, post COVID, once again operating in four distinct end markets underpins our confidence in our future growth and our expectation that we will reach profitability in the short-term."I prefer to look forwards rather than backwards all imo dyor! | slicethepie
26/4/2024 06:19 | "Adjusted EBITDA loss* is expected to be in the region of £2.5 million (FY23: loss of £0.2 million)," Enough said. Tells us all we need to know. Reinforces Smithie6's view. | pugugly
28/3/2024 11:40 | So, Simon Cawkwell has suggested this share recently. After a quick look I think he is wrong. Share price is held up mostly by hope imo. Based on the financial numbers it is still overpriced imo. And Cawkwell writes that the share price is supported by cash per share. He must be looking at different accounts than me ! £5m cash doesn't support a cap. value of £29 million ! | smithie6
22/3/2024 09:56 | I think there may be a bit more urgency to this than prior upgrades...from Nov presentation .TSA policy change is requiring US airports to upgrade security technology for screening employees | slicethepie |
