Thank you Leoboy.

Bids invited on 14 “compact detection units” across 3 locations. One sought is the Thru Vision TS4-C. (Said able to conduct 360° screening at one person per 12 seconds in real time.) The ITT calls for “....capacity for an effective flow of information of up to 100 people per hour...”

A single THRU unit well exceeds the basic capacity spec, but I don't know whether it can handle the "inside the body" part. The article also mentions a Canon Xray system, so potentially some of both (or more) types are anticipated. I'll guess 4 units total per location with 2 spares - or if all deployed, more at some.

So perhaps 7 units from Thruvision: 2 at two locations and 3 at one. Hoping for more though!

What a surprise, today's very positive trading update! Who'd have expected that, looking at the recent share price movement!

Not complaining of course, with new top notch customers, repeat orders, good progress in all markets and increased production, including now in the US.

No advice.

Interesting video:youtube.com/watch?v=WvamkzBt3lkLike the comment made at the end "this new technology could be deployed nationwide within just months".The article below is another interesting development:http://m.digitaljournal.com/pr/3950910

Steve, helps indeed, and thank you for that. Just seen your post, been away on other matters.
"....more speculative" are rather worrying words, and surprising to me after the downsizing and refocusing to a product with surely a strong demand globally. If well-founded, despite the demand I presume the gross margin achievable in the market must be tight.

For any new here, again worth noting that after resizing the THRU kick off share price was 15p (thereabouts?), not as the Long term chart shows - not that gloomy!

All IMO and no advice of course.

Hew, Techinvest have been positive recently, but in the the last edition published on 8th September they have reduced their holding by almost half. " Recent order success is encouraging, though commercialisation of the technology remains at an early stage, and is now more speculative." Hope this helps.

Still quite a dramatic drop under low volume.

Would be tempted to top up but original buy has today gone under water so will try and ride it out

I know nothing. I see a few round number trades today shown as sells kicking off with 75000. Have heard it said that is typical of a fund reducing, but who knows. My most recent note is of some fund holdings stated 20-24 August following the Tender offer, but no current knowledge. Then they were:
Lombard Odier 10.01%; Herald 10.54%; Schroders 20.4%.

Way back I read that TechInvest had a positive view. If they still exist perhaps a subscriber is prepared to comment?
