I see there is talk of possible delisting in Oct when the plan is finalised / agreed. Can't see it but a possibility.

So for me it's

1p ish if the deal goes through.

Possibly 0p (Administration) if the deal is rejected.

Shareholder

I think that if the current deal falls through then it may well go to zero.

Some bondholders may reject the proposal and may prefer to get 35% of their cash back rather than shares in a new company structure which may still go bust anyway.

Why don't you wait for 0p?

Thomas Cook most iconic name in travel, the Chinese won't have Easyjet Ryanair or Tui to worry them, took them 200 years to build the Great wall

Agreed. Would not be surprised at all to see a 20 or 30% hike in the share price

Remember that my short positions here total over £1k per point and Im short from over 30p, so (tempting as it is to bank profits), holding for 1p does bring in another £4k + ….. that keep's Mrs Mallorca in new shoes for another year !

Zen,

I haven't decided what to do yet - I'm in no rush.

I'm leaning towards just waiting for the inevitable suspension , as I'm pretty sure it will reopen at circa 1p.

Believe me , longs will never see 6p bid again.

If it was me and I believed in an eventual recovery story, I would sell now , take a break , clear my head, and maybe buy in after the restructure.

That would probably times my shareholding by 5 ish (buying back at 1p).

I still think that this could die however - even after the restructure.
It's just not the sector to be in.

Well looking a lot weaker now. I may be wrong about a bounce.

All I am saying is there are a few more twists and turns to come here yet.

Or potentially, if investco shares are being hoovered up by a third party?

It won't take much of a flurry of buys to move this ten to twenty percent higher. Shorts will be as fickle as longs if it looks like they may have missed a decent slug of profit.
