Sorry i meant sacked . .The Hut Group, the Manchester-based e-commerce company preparing a £4.5bn stock exchange listing, cancelled a previous flotation following the discovery of a multimillion-pound fraud at the firm.Details of the fraud and the subsequent collapse of the share offering – which dates back to 2011 – are contained within a 2014 judgment in a high court case that included THG being ordered to pay £10.8m to settle a claim from the owner of a business it had acquired.The judge's ruling explored how THG's aggressive business culture during that time contributed to the fraud and stated how attitudes within its finance department had "allowed the fraud to flourish"..THG's then financial controller, plus another member of the accounting department were sacked, with Darren Rajanah, then finance director and now working in THG's Ingenuity division, put on gardening leave before returning to the company.

Good news for disgruntled shareholders at Matt Moulding's online retail group THG.

Well, sort of. Investment bank Jefferies has resumed coverage of the stock with a 'buy' rating and a £1.20 price target.

That might be cold comfort to anyone who bought into the IPO at £5, or when the stock hit £8 in January 2021.

The stock flirted with new lows last week, closing at 70.5p.

But these days, every bit of optimism helps.

The bottom Chart is showing the clear GAP in Green Circle, from 91.2761P and a Jump to £1.02 Good ain't it.
The share price just needs a bit of a push from 90P. The Support @ 70.56 P also there. That is why I Keep loading up at these prices. :o)

It looks like MM thinks he is bigger than the Market . Staying so quiet the company is making investors fearful ? now that some skeletons are going to come out . I would say Accounting side of business it’s happened once and the guy took the rap when he was sacked . I know as i know someone who worked there and left because of the way they do there sales to real sales to showing them in the accounts . Market is saying some bad news coming out sooner or later . Not taking the £1.70 was wrong . Should have taken that would have kept all the skeleton in the closet. Time will tell but revenue to market cap is well out now.

RE: The week ahead

Anyone who uses technicals should be able to check their own charts and see the same....

Positive = We have had strong support at 70p. Has been hit multiple times in the last few weeks and has held so far.
Negatives = The resistance seems to be the 10 DAY EMA. This number is dropping daily. It now sits 73.74p This very tight trading range will have to break at some point either to the downside or upside. If the market takes a bad turn this week then it is pretty obvious which way this is heading. Sadly even if the market has a good week there is no guarantee it will rise as we have seen in the last weeks share price movements.

Also it is a head scratcher that the company itself is staying mute watching the share price head downwards. That is starting to bother me and I am wondering why. All the strategies that have been announced so far and nothing has happened with any of them. It is almost like they don't Care.
