Looks like hedge funds just booked all recent days trading today.
7m traded but only 14% through LSE Electronic book (AT)

Let’s hope we don’t get a repeat of previous days when it held up until yanks wake up then it tanks!

With you on much of that SRS8. A few things that struck me following the recent results. I was surprised at how well MM dealt with the Q&As. Clearly he has not brought in Lord Allen for his coms skills - the logical conclusion is that his deal making skills may well be the primary motive. Also that results for ingenuity were strong. Something that previously the market had valued at zero. Finally the SoftBank are still holding despite closing most of those European holdings. They have representation on the board so will be well appraised of the current situation.

My guess is that a deal is in the offing. Perhaps to enable MM the take the company back private.

yeah I have a very large holding and have averages down as its gone down.
i think its a very good company at ecom but very bad at managing expectations of the market and share holders (i do hope Lord Allen can improve here)
for me, i am hoping for PE buy out - dont need it to go through, just being shared to the market will ensure thr shorts and bears F off (i really hate them) and the FUD spreaders (like our friend Lodge, and his various cohorts before him such BLDM, mikesmith, dereksmith etc etc)

Understandable reasons for that and projected to recover to 9-10% in 23/24 on a far bigger business model.

Either way. The share price haircut from £8 to £1 hardly reflects the change in ebitda.
There are lots of Elephants in the room at the current valuation. Not least the zero value of Ingenuity. WPP take a different view.

They clearly stated they had chosen to absorb inflationary pressures believing it’s better to drive volume as they believed their inflationary pressures were largely transitory - commodity and supply chain.
All explained and a rational decision taken.

not quite true apache - ebitda margin at ipo was 9-10%, its now 7.4% for '21 and 6% for 22 - quite a haircut wouldnt you say?

The facts haven’t changed at all - except that the company are ahead of where they predicted to be at this stage. The shorter pressure is creating more opportunities to buy in at forced sale levels. It’s just a case of holding and waiting. The white noise from the stench pool isn’t worth your energy. I’ve filtered it all out. Like most insect repellents, the filter option is very effective

Hedge fund sells likely yesterday.
Amalgamated trades from their broker’s dark pools just recorded later on LSE order book as off book trades.
Hedge funds been in driving seat since results day.
I wonder if they own Betaville?
