Actually it is a crime……and the inside knowledge wasn’t his much discussed online sales data (that’s just paid for widely distributed data) but it was real detailed inside information.
The online flow data was irrelevant concerning THG and told him little onmost shares hence his losses on many retail shorts - Next, Currys etc etc.

Look at least he had the common respect to inform you all at near short-term highs regardless of his reasons and ones knowledge is theirs and only theirs but if I recall correctly, Paddy's data clearly demonstrated growth had stalled and was now going backward, the insider information was just an added spark to what he foresaw coming and theres certainly no crime in that folks!

Yes I am told he posted something after placing his own 1m hedge short and selling his 1m cash position although the post was removed by him moments after after it first appeared.
I didn’t see the post myself although confirmed by others and got no response to messages. I am told this post actually omitted any of the details of the inside knowledge just told people to sell - Expecting all to trust Toasty!
At that point it was his interest to spread it far and wide whilst trying to avoid prison!
I think we’ve found Matt’s ‘pond scum’.

I am more than happy to buy at these levels Tony. I don’t need to act on insider information, the charts tell me all I need to know. No regrets whatsoever. Do you have any regrets?

Where monies are involved there will always be some form of corruption and so what if Paddy with his network was able to receive insider information because everyone requires an 'Edge' to navigate through the financial markets so good luck to him!

...And to be fair, he informed all of you when the tripe was in the 80s except you took no heed and all this criticism directed towards him is really unnecessary folks so try and avoid it in future hey unless you rather enjoy drowning over your sorrows!

I believe it’s the second time he has benefited from inside knowledge although from two different sources.
First time that I am aware of was ‘allegedlyR17; before last Sept’s results.
It’s clearly an extremely leaky ship.
Toasty clearly spreads (without key details) the info but only after he has acted and the damage has already started so spreading the info is now to his further benefit.
Hopefully he will soon get some more duff THG info and act as usual.
Believe that’s happened at least once but not often enough yet!

It’s unfortunate that someone foolishly trusted Tony with that ‘inside information’ as the subsequent trading had a devastating impact especially given the low volumes traded across the Christmas early New Year period - Many followed him out.

Tony is a despicable character. No amount of money will change that. Frankel frustrates some, but at least he’s transparent and consistent.

My view is that with most shares little said on these boards impacts the share price.
However with the very illiquid THG it seems to be sadly possible at least for a short period? This combined with a few private investors placing large CFD/Spreadbets and the absence of large institutional investors or shorts these larger PI traders do seem to have an unfortunate impact at the moment anyway?
Tony (Toasty - a person with many many aliases) seems to be attempting to exploit this by selling all his 1.8m plus shares (first shorting with a huge hedge after a ‘insider’; tip on the 2nd Jan concerning bonuses) and wishes to rejoin at much lower prices. My guess is somewhere in the 50s although he says the 40s but he clearly won’t be telling the truth.
It’s unfortunate but for the moment all these boards are best ignored.
I actually also don’t think his pricing wish will be granted anyway? - Matt M has to pull a rabbit out the hat soon anyway to preserve his own position.
So hopefully Tony’s plan will backfire.

If so I don’t think he’s bought back in but who knows and I don’t think anyone should care?
We certainly won’t get the truth from any of his aliases.

This is what I don’t understand about in investors.

Hardwell:- I sold half, then I sold all, then I am back in.

Then write that today, why come back in at all?

Why on earth would you if you feel like that.

Again, these boards are all mind games for no one knows next moves.

It can't be Paddy as its based on futures contracts except options are invariably priced with little variance so where are you retrieving the quote from?

...Wait until Monday and I'll give you a live quote but I'll be very suprised if those quotes are correct.

A Jan put price is 16250 vs live price of 16950?

April is 16150. For longer they want 14950.

Is the good out of the bet now ? Or is the dax 40 different that I am looking at.
