@dealy, I'd agree this is the case on a lot of US stocks, but what undervalued UK stocks have given great results and been dumped lately? Could you give examples?

I have seen dozens of companies give great updates over the last few weeks and the result has been the same: stock dumped. The common denominater is that hedge funds have become forced sellers of small cap and emerging market stocks.

Alice may have put many in Wonderland today, albeit the bears might not be so happy.

We are now in the final run up to Xmas/NY with fewer trading days, could see more volatility as bulls/bears jostle for the year ahead.

Strange day today up over 6% on very low volume . Hopefully it carries on into tomorrow. ?? But that might be asking to much . Went to cafe next to Hut in Cheshire but did not hear and news form staff eating there . Only like what we already know beating there quotes . For Xmas

Bit weary of higher UT trades as can be used for enhanced disappointment, a feature of algos when accumulating (see dead cat bounce comment above).

Hope I am wrong of course.
