Proper boxing match buys v sells at the end here great to watch it on the charts. Sells aren't having it all their own way like they normally do. Interesting to see what UT trades come along at close of play.

I wouldn't get your hopes up just yet. They always bring it down last 30min. The whole market is up today. I'm still not seeing the volume required for a big break out. I've lost count of the number of dead cat bounces this share has had.

The Softbank approach / option clearly threw a spanner. Like the IPO, THG presumably agreed thinking about growth. We do not presently know which route will be taken but the last presentation did say this was still on track for H1 2022.

If the linkedin posts are to be believed – and they appear to be from various employees – then Ingenuity is helping to break records for THG.

Not sure about the Amazon references, but speculate that those who made them see the potential for THG (Ingenuity?) to become a behemoth?

The main thing at present is THG appears to be booming. That can only be good for THG and Ingenuity.

Either way it does not matter. As part of the split they need to provide the exact figures for each part of the business. This transparency is also what the markets wants to see. How much does each part of the business make and contribute to the top and bottom line. Even if he decides against the spilt which I believe he will for now breaking out the numbers will be a positive for the share. More transparency equals more trust.

Just let everyone know I have a good feeling RNS coming out . After Bell or first thing in morning . This looks like its been planned to be honest. I live right by the cheshire branch next to Roberts the Bakery. There is a cafe right by them where some staff go for food there and talk lol to each other . Interesting few days . If and when RNS comes out

It is a common set up in some industries but not this, iv had free shares as dividend in specie from some medical businesses iv owned that then spun out divisions as new plcs

You have a point. Trust is earned. If he cancels the split he'll need to earn the trust of the market that he won't bring it back in a year or two. I don't fully understand why he wants to split a successful business into multiple ones to be valued independently. There have always been companies with focus on multiple areas. Either I don't understand the idea (which I'll admit I don't) or it is idiotic. I also love how it has been compared to amazon here yet this company is almost the opposite of amazon and the split will make it even more different because amazon could have its various divisions into separate businesses. I mean AWS can easily be a separate business, so would the warehousing and logistics.

He should have an idea of how his split is going to work I would expect, but the low share price is now a massive hinderance to that.Unfortunately even if he cancelled the split it probably wont restore much in price as its always waiting in the pipeline.And they wont be able to raise much now due to share price either.Lose lose situation this split now. What a farce it is at the moment.

The fact is, if you are in this, you entered either to trade it and then it got away from you or as a massive gamble of an investment. The fact that SoftBank is in means nothing - they have great investments and some very sketchy ones. I believe the business is good. However, being honest - I can't tell you what the business is going to look like in 12 months and I am pretty sure MM doesn't know either. If he did, he'd provide an update. If he knew what the business will look like in 12 months he would have said something - I mean it's not like he's shy or keeps his mouth shut or is not prepared to act - he dropped his golden share.

Maybe the person in linkein who may work for THG should not posted anything and the mistake made is corrected. Otherwise insider information whould have been since to be leaked even if true.

The big sell around Ingenuity is that it improves B2C operators. If various divisions of THG (as has been suggested by some of the linkedin posts), and all operating with Ingenuity, have achieved ‘record breaking’ periods, then that has to be a massive plus. Not just to THG and Ingenuity (the Softbank option), but also as far as other B2C operators are likely concerned; will they now also want to sign up with Ingenuity?

THG reckon Ingenuity is market leading. Do these linkedin posts suggest that might be the case, and if so, what is its potential?

Be interesting when USA opens which way this goes to be honest.. Full of HF shorting this.. over the pond if they start to cover we will move higher. If not down it will go as quick as it came up..
