21/8/2018 21:20 | Peel Hunt today reiterates buy rating with a 220p target price. | mfhmfh
16/7/2018 10:42 | I'm really pleased with the 90% purchase of Salene Chrome. Whilst I appreciate this carries risk penetrating the Zimbabwe market, Tharisa would have done their research and due diligence. It's a fact that Zimbabwe contains the highest concentration of platinum based metals. So it is a natural synergy for Tharisa. For me, the fact that THS paid an interim dividend of 18% of group net profit after tax shows how confident management are in the business fundamentals and shows that they appreciate the shareholders. Its only a matter of time before this share price heads towards 200p | fernagx
29/5/2018 14:54 | huge volume today | mfhmfh

05/5/2018 12:24 | 'basic earnings per share (EPS) and headline earnings per share (HEPS) for the half year ended 31 March 2018 are expected to be between US$ 9 cents per share and US$ 11 cents per share' Peel Hunt had forecast adjusted pre-tax profits of $99.8m and EPS of 23.5¢ for the year to September 2018 (from $95.5m and 22.8¢ in FY2017) If EPS can approach US$ 11 cents per share on half year results then should be able to match last year's EPS and possibly hit Peel Hunt's EPS target of 23.5c for FY 2018. Peel Hunt have a target price of 230p. Hopefully EPS can accelerate in the 2nd half of the year: "The benefits of the owner mining model and the central focus on improving recoveries are expected to reflect in the second half," said Tharisa CEO Phoevos Pouroulis. All IMHO. | mfhmfh
05/5/2018 12:14 | Quarter ended 31 Dec 2016: PGM price $740/oz, chrome concentrate price $250/t Quarter ended 31 Dec 2017: PGM price $865/oz, chrome concentrate price $179/t Half year ended 31 Mar 2017: PGM price $760/oz, chrome concentrate price $278/t Half year ended 31 Mar 2018: PGM price $909/oz, chrome concentrate price $193/t For the 1st quarter ended 31.12.17 PGM prices were higher but chrome concentrate prices were lower compared to the same quarter last year. For the half year ended 31.03.18 PGM prices were higher but chrome concentrate prices were again lower compared to the same quarter last year. Interestingly 2nd quarter 2018 chrome concentrate prices were $206/t compared to $193/t half year 2018 prices suggesting increased chrome concentrate prices in the 2nd quarter. All IMHO. | mfhmfh
04/5/2018 16:11 | H1 EPS of 9c = $23.5m = £17.5m. Maintained for the full year is around £35m. I make that a forward PE of 8 which still looks pretty good. | pimsim
04/5/2018 15:56 | So an EBITDA of £12m or so on a £280mcap, no dividend either I guess. | novicetrade68
