Peter, if you want to relieve the frustration then have a look at Stock invest who have Tethys at $3.10 within 3 months.
If only, but there again we are awaiting transformational news.

Just getting a bit frustrated with how long everything takes. Would have been nice to have got some share price momentum going into next year. But that's looking increasingly unlikely.

Description of Tethys Petroleum from Stockhouse........

Tethys Petroleum Limited is an oil and gas exploration and production company focused on Central Asia and the Caspian Region with projects in Kazakhstan. Through its subsidiaries, TethysAralGas LLP and Kul-Bas LLP, it operates over four contracts in the North Ustyurt basin to the west of the Aral Sea adjacent to the prolific Pre-Caspian basin. It has a 100% working interest in the Kyzyloi Production Contract (449 square kilometers (km2)), Akkulka Exploration License and Contract (827 km2), Akkulka Production Contract (396 km2) and Kul-Bas Exploration and Production Contract (7,632 km2). The Kul-Bas exploration and production contract area surrounds the Akkulka block, which has an exploration area of over 7,632 km2. Kyzyloi and Akkulka gas development fields are tied into the Bukhara-Urals gas pipeline by an over 56-kilometer pipeline owned and built by the Company. The Doris oil field provides over two oil-bearing zones, the lower zone and an upper, lower cretaceous sandstone zone.

Let's see what our new investor brings to the table before we start singing his praises. Charitable status is honourable I agree but also the thing to do when you mix in certain circles. And shouldn't be confused with business decisions.

Peter, I think you need to note that the new guy invested millions into a charity he created to support those disadvantaged within Kazakhstan. He seems to be a decent guy as well as a real businessman which is a real change from the power hungry, totally corrupt gangsters we've had to put up with this last few years.
I find it refreshing that we now have a guy, who with his influence in Kazakhstan and beyond, truly wants to see Tethys reach their full potential.

I think you're being a bit overly generous there. "Everything" has been truly lacking in Tethys for a long time now. Hopefully this will be the turning point but also remember that this all should have been happening 10 months ago.

Agree that we can't second guess what this guy is going to do and we can only hope that it will be something that benefits us as well as the larger holders.

Trying to second guess the new guys intentions for his Tethys stake is not easy but one of the things he does say is that he leverages his investments to their full potential.
I think we all agree that this is something that has been truly lacking in Tethys.

$1.62 CAD and I'll be back in profit, nearly there! Was going to sell earlier this year but glad I didn't in the end. Look forward to seeing what can be achieved now they have a well connected Kaz guy on board who can hopefully get things done!

Licence before year end? Re dilution, I can't see it being anywhere near these levels, the big holders aren't going to dilute themselves surely? It would imo only happen if and when the share price is at many many multiples of today's price. And if they want quick money for drilling, expansion etc once we get the licence forward selling of our oil would be an option. Licence next week please. GLA

You just reminded me of every company boss I've ever worked for saying they're not making any money out of this job. And yet turn up to work in a 100k + car and live in a £2m house. Those kind of people never take a big hit. That's for the likes of you and me mate.
