I'm hopefully sitting here quite smug, as I can't remember all my past trades, but I do recall buying a loads a day or 2 before delisting from lse, my broker told me I could still hold them electronically, which turned out not to be the case, long story short I'm nearly in profit, around $1.80 cad and I'm there. I was with self trade back then. GLA

Up 146% over 1 year.
Up 700% over 5 years.
Down 50% over 10 years.
Down 94% from it's all time high.
Still a long way to go but perfectly doable.

In 6 months time we will all be wishing we had broken the piggy banks and invested in Tethys at these prices to average down.

Up 141% YTD to $1.69 Canadian - new fella's shrewd, activist, equity market investment reputation once again proceeding him?

After the horrendous and highly expensive experience of having the Robson Crime Family at the helm for many years misappropriating shareholders funds as fast as they could raise it - it's the least Tethys long suffering shareholders deserve!

The production licence is the holy grail and the biggest piece in this jigsaw puzzle 😍

The main thing to take from yesterday's news is that we will now be producing from production wells as opposed to test wells.
I would expect a response from the market if only a muted one because it is another step towards the production licence being signed off. There is just a couple of things investors need to be patient with though. Firstly the ecology permit is only up until the end of 2024 although there can be little doubt that the 2025 permit will be approved. Secondly, production will be at test levels until the production licence is signed.
The big uplift with the share price will come with the signing of the production licence for three reasons. Firstly there will be no restrictions on oil production, secondly they will be able to export the oil and receive export prices, thirdly they are likely to attract the attention of a bidder.
The gears may be turning but Tethys are not yet firing on all cylinders so investors need to be patient for just a little while longer but it will happen and the rewards should be good.

Our new shareholder certainly seems to be doing his stuff!!

This could get quite interesting. Would love to know what Bill's plans are - hopefully an exit for us all at an eye watering premium that makes the wait all these long years worthwhile. I would be quite content to wait as this unfurls to its potential (eg to NYSE) while receiving a decent divi. I suspect though we will be taken out well before that.

Corporate Update Tethys Petroleum Press Release (TSXV: TPL) Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands - Tethys Petroleum Limited (TSXV: TPL) ("Tethys" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has received the Ecology permit for oil production at Kulbas. This permit is valid through December 31, 2024. The company is in the process of commissioning the facilities to start production from KBD #2 and KBD #6 as soon as possible. The commissioning with the connection to KBD#7 is scheduled to be started on December 1, 2024. The Ecology permit application for 2025 is currently under review by the Ecology department. The permit for the gas flaring for 2025 has already been received.
