03/1/2018 08:25 | I wonder how much money TPL wasted on legal costs trying to hold on to the valueless Tajikistan interests after they were obviously forfeit. | zangdook

02/1/2018 18:07 | Olisol press release. " Taking into account that this court order was affecting the rights of Olisol, Olisol appealed to the court asking to cancel this court order". I wonder if Olisol is referring to its EGG/TAG dispute and its rights related to the exclusive contract signed with Robson. If so, it seems presumptuous as the case is subject to appeal in the KZ Supreme Court. | hguess16
02/1/2018 16:23 | Found the below. It all sounds pretty nonsensical to me so I have no idea what to make of it. Probably safe to ignore and assume it's total gibberish..... HONG KONG, Dec. 25, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- OLISOL Petroleum (hereinafter – Olisol) today announces that Great Wall, a company from China, filed a claim against TethysAralGas (hereinafter – TAG) on payment for drilling of $2, 726, 413. With court order dated December 6, 2017 Specialized Interdistrict Economic Court of Aktubinsk region claimed from TAG $2, 726, 413 for the work performed and $40, 896 as court fees. Taking into account that this court order was affecting the rights of Olisol, Olisol appealed to the court asking to cancel this court order. On December 14, 2017 Specialized Interdistrict Economic Court of Aktubinsk region canceled court order on Great Wall’s claim. Great Wall may lay its claims to TAG by means of ordinary court proceedings. Also, after having analyzed alternative offers on gas wells drilling Olisol believes that the contract price of Great Wall was overstated and requires auditing within the scope of interests of all Tethys Petroleum shareholders. Olisol shall insist that TAG’s management makes a full disclosure of information on gas wells drilling contract and cost of expenses on this contract. Previously, TAG brought a complaint against actions of enforcement agent to the court of Aktobe city regarding enforcement proceedings dated October 30, 2017 on debt collection from TAG in the amount claimed by EGG. On December 20 and 25, 2017 the court of Aktobe city passed Judgment and legitimized the actions of enforcement agent. Both complaints from TAG were rejected. | casual47
02/1/2018 05:53 | TI, I too am awaiting a positive response from Tethys Mgt and hope that the 4th Qtr results which should be due by end Jan will provide us with an update. As regards TSX-V, it seems that TSX seems to have ignored the Canadian Court ruling against Olisol in asking Tethys to consider listing on the minor TSX-V. I do not think this would affect trading of TPL shares as there is no transfer to another jurisdiction which occurred in the LSE delisting. In any case SEDAR will provide an update before end Jan on whether the application to list on TSX-V has been successful. I presume that with the TPL price trading at all time lows 1-1.5 Cents, TSX decided that the minor TSX-V was more appropriate for TPL. As I see it, until the EGG/TAG dispute is resolved in the KZ Supreme Court or amicably ( if this is possible), we are unlikely to see any progress. The latest press release from Olisol indicates that they are determined to fight their corner as they are at risk of losing their EGG oil business and AOT arrangement struck with the management. This EGG/TAG dispute has created a financial mess and resulted in a great deal of uncertainty for all shareholders in Tethys incl Olisol who hold 63m shares and have lent W/C of $5.8m. Olisol seems to be adopting a " do or die " strategy here. If they win the EGG/TAG case, they may expect to assume some sort of control of TAG which would weaken Tethys in KZ. If they lose, it could be a serious financial blow for them in KZ. Olisol looks to be playing a game of Russian roulette in their own backyard !. | hguess16
31/12/2017 15:43 | At least Tethys and Skyland shareholders can look back and draw comfort from the fact that it was not just them that were hoodwinked by Old Robbo's underhand, venal, and self serving behaviour but, seasoned industry professionals like Total and CNPC too, and for $63m. | mount teide
31/12/2017 15:31 | Good find. Pretty much as expected: Taj assets will be given up and no further associated costs to be expected as the TPL parent company is not a guarantor. Total has plenty of money so let's hope they don't try to bully TPL in paying anything further by taking the TPL entity to court. I'd be surprised if that were the case, assuming my understanding of the legal set up is correct. | casual47

22/12/2017 09:07 | Clive_h - looks like tsx-v is tradable on II as I can see other tsx-v stocks from my account. Not happy but perhaps tsx-v is a more appropriate exchange for Tethys considering its current mkt cap. Last results were promising so fingers crossed and they sort out Olisol we might have a better future. | cowls
22/12/2017 07:40 | Does anyone know if this transfer from TSX to TSX-V will affect the ability to sell/buy shares here? Prior to the end of the London listing I transferred my shares to TD Direct, now 'ii Interactive Investor', and am able to sell and buy through them with no problem. However I am concerned as to whether or not this will still be the case should the proposed exchange transfer take place..?? | clive_h |
