30/10/2017 20:13 | TI ~ wish I could put your efforts towards something useful :) | rhuvaal2
27/10/2017 21:23 | Hmmmm how many crooks were involved, even on the opening.......Somebo | temporarily insane
27/10/2017 18:17 | Looks like Casual is hoping that Olisol might get away with their illegal activities against Tethys. I recall he was also in favour of Olisol using its W/C to pay for some of the 181m Shares instead of paying C$9.8m as per the Investment Agreement. Makes me wonder why he sold out of Tethys !. Now he apeculates on hearings and appeals. Dreaming of African Minerals and Frank Timis !. | hguess16
27/10/2017 18:11 | My remaining shares are still in limbo with Barclays. | casual47
27/10/2017 17:37 | A hearing is different to a judgement is different to actually enforcing said judgement. This will probably go on for years. Remember: Olisol can always appeal. | casual47
27/10/2017 15:39 | ih_ A few years ?. That's not true. Phase 2 to determine the quantum of damages due from Olisol is expected to be heard by April or May next year. That is what I have heard. | hguess16
27/10/2017 15:02 | Tethys has said that the case in the Canadian courts will not likely be resolved for a few years. Holding it for that reason makes no sense to me. | ih_416583
26/10/2017 18:12 | The question is, WHAT HAVE THIS MANAGEMENT GOT PLANNED NEXT? FFS | temporarily insane
25/10/2017 20:57 | 'Unfortunately, Olisol’s actions are continuing and are having an adverse financial impact on the Company and its business which could potentially put its operations in jeopardy. Despite the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan (“RoK”) notifying the Company that the actions of the bailiff were illegal under RoK law and it had suspended the bailiff’s licence to operate, Olisol has continued to attempt to disrupt the Company’s oil deliveries by sending bailiffs and security personnel to the field.' Situation seems to be deteriorating rapidly - the Olisol thugs appear to be a well organised, highly determined and clearly desperate adversary, wilfully ignoring Ministry of Justice orders and employing criminal activities as a matter of routine, much like a New York mob boss. It would be fairly safe to assume the behaviour of Olisol and their paid thugs is much worse than that described in the release. Sadly, through no fault of their own, this now has all the hallmarks of a situation that has a high potential of ending extremely badly for shareholders. Having said that, when the dust finally settles on this long running investment disaster, the Film rights on the incredible Tethy's story would probably be worth a fortune in Hollywood! Its got the lot - Commercial skullduggery, intrigue, corruption, dishonesty, chicanery, double-dealing, sharp practice, highlife and Channel Island Mansions, and that was just the Robson era! Throw in since the attempted theft of the company and its assets, bribery of public officials, use of gangs of paid thugs to illegally disrupt a company's business activity - and you have all the ingredients for a Hollywood blockbuster or 6 part mini series! | mount teide
25/10/2017 20:23 | TI, Well said !. I will not elaborate further. | hguess16
25/10/2017 20:04 | Hey Casual47, maybe a PM to hguess16 and deleting your comment above might be a little less public.....;-) Just a thought for some of us who are wanting to see all this positively resolved for the Tethys camp. | temporarily insane
25/10/2017 20:01 | Ok, let's assume: 1. Tethys cancels all Olisols shares 2. Tethys is allowed to keep all monies that Olisol gave them 3. Tethys tries to enforce gazillion damages and causes Olisol to go into administration Is that the kind of thing you are thinking of? Ok. So let's assume all that happened. EGG seizes the assets of TAG. Now what? | casual47
25/10/2017 19:56 | Casual, You are entitled to your own opinion. It explains why you have decided to pull out of Tethys. I am still in the game because I am convinced that the long arm of the Canadian Court will ensure that Olisol will get what's coming in the form of having to pay huge financial damages. Remember that Olisol own 63m Tethys shares and have $5.7m W/C lodged with Tethys and that is just for starters. I know that Olisol is registered in Cyprus and might be feeling comfortable with that situ. Let's see what happens !. | hguess16
25/10/2017 19:47 | How will Tethys enforce any ruling in their favour? What will they go after? In Kaz it is EGG who are causing trouble for Tethys, not Olisol, which is a different entity. Also, EGG is attacking the Kaz subsidiary, while I imagine the Canadian court is on the Tethys group level. If the Kaz authorities are unable to stop Olisol from illegally sending bailiffs and armed men onto Tethys' property how on earth is a ruling made in far away Canada going to have any effect? Imo, just forget about this. It's not a straw worth clinging to. | casual47
25/10/2017 19:43 | TI, I have to hope that the Canadian Court will follow through with its judgement that Olisol, which has failed to defend itself, will be subject to huge financial penalties that makes it impossible for them to even operate in their home ground in KZ. All you have to do is compare the breaches of contract plus the illegal acts committed by Olisol to date versus alleged TAG/EGG "breach of contract ". | hguess16
25/10/2017 19:38 | The Canadian case is a red herring, imo. I can't see how/what they will enforce. Worst case Olisol just make it drag several years in the courts. Also, whatever game Olisol is playing inside Kaz seems to be running at a much higher click and a much shorter time frame, and so far with much more damage on Tethys. Olisol may well succeed in "game, set and match" many months before the Canadian court even gets round to the summing up... | casual47
25/10/2017 19:33 | I think you also have to look at these statements as supporting and increasing any damages claims. If you wanted to shaft someone you wouldn't be putting out public statements that every thing is going really well and there's nothing to worry about. I would say Olisol only needs to fart within 100yrds of a Tethys rig and it will be recorded. And why not!! I've been watching "suits" on Netflix, I know what I'm talking about LOL. | 1399peter
25/10/2017 19:02 | Tethys needs to pull its bloody finger out and bloody pronto. You seem rather relaxed hguess16. | temporarily insane |
