The Police are pointless where I live .
They turn a " blind eye " and that is to things far more serious than shoplifting!
My local Police Force favourite crime scene is the McDonald's drive thru .
They are a waste of Tax payers money , nothing but Woke Pushers !

Sherry is not a spirit SS. I'd advise you not to get involved in UNresolutions on the Gaza conflict without an understanding of every nuance in words of the English language. :-)

The pubs one has been going on for years, beer in a pub has been going up and up in price for 30 odd years, too much Tax on the Pub industry and rates too high .
Smoking ban was one of its biggest downfalls .
People aren't switching to cheaper supermarkets they are just stealing it , it's not cheaper it's free!

Brits switch to cheaper supermarkets and buy fewer presents in cost of living Christmas crisis

Half of adults will turn to cheaper supermarkets and miss out on pints at the pub because of the cost of living crisis.

What a lovely chart that is!

It's like a blue sky on a summer's day....
whoops I'm getting all poetic now.

But none the less it is a thing of beauty.

Quick thought on Tesco .
My store is totally chocker ! As you would expect at this time of year .
What caught my eye though , they had staff standing in certain parts . Meat and booze were two areas . Just standing there watching, I think they were just playing the visible deterent part.
When the Christmas trade report comes out , I won't be paying too much attention to the sales , profits etc but to the Shrink how big it is ? And how much growth there is in the Shrink .
If this doesn't get to this 3.20/3.30 area soon that all and sundry appear to say its going too
And if that Shrink shows big percentage growth ?
Then it's short time
