Well I have a small holding here, its pretty insignificant to a lot of you guys, so I am more of an interested by stander to see who is going to be proved right, as we have two definite camps. The fact that Jc and duxy spend so much time on here gives me some confidence that we do have something of value here. I know one thing, unless TERN realise some value out of one of their investment they will be coming back to market sooner rather than later and certainly today's update was even to me a pretty poor affair. Good luck to all holders and I hope 2020 is your year and duxy and co are made to eat their words, the jury is still however out.

The £800k contract was spread over two years so the miss on revenue has to be something much more fundamental than the InVMA contract.

Think about that for a moment.

There is no way that the InVMA contract could be included in 2019 turnover unless there are serious issues with revenue recognition.

So ignore the ridiculous comments by ridicule he is just a ramping fool.

I would like the new director (Scherba) to take over as CEO and Mr Sisto retained on the board, but not in the current role.
Communications need an overhaul. Just my thoughts.

I don’t recall JonC ‘saying’ that the IoT will not happen. Perhaps he can confirm?

13/1/2020 when the order came in is clearly after the close of 2019!

Silly to make a 50% increase announcement and then miss it, but the hockey stick is still out there and will arrive within the next 12 months given the amount of activity now generating around IOT. Interesting to think whether the £800 odd K order for InVMA was post period. This would increase the turnover above the 27% level if it was.

JonC’s inane activity so early in the day is the classic pattern of a shorter. Ignore him. He lacks credibility and is quite amateur in the way he massages news. Just think, he is saying that all the mighty MS, NCipher, Intel, Thales and many more IoT initiatives, who all have DA now imbedded in them, confirmed today by AS in his reference MS Azure connector, will fail. In short, excuse the pun, JonC is effectively saying IoT will not happen. Just look at Huawei debate raging as we speak. What a prat JonC is.

I think he is trying to justify a pay rise. We should of got the promised growth before they got a pay rise. We still measure progress on the path to the moon by milestones.

SW my favorites are 2 and 3 but it is possible with a very large contract win to cause a revaluation

aandrea it was needed as they missed by a country mile a forecast that they issued in November 2019.

Have no doubt this was forced onto them by the NOMAD.

All the rest is just window dressing of a warning.

1. Doesn't bring revaluations on tern books.

Think 2 & 3

No he is clearly talking of Investee revaluations - which could only come from:1 - big contract wins2 - partial sale3 - full sale

Yes, very vague about DA. They cobbled together 8 lines of text about DA, and needed 27 days of January to come up with that.
Ludricous.

An RNS that wasn't needed, as the content is just rehash.

The Directors of Tern are confident that its portfolio companies will achieve further milestones during 2020, some of which may result in revaluations to the carrying values of investments and consequent increases in the net asset value ("NAV") of Tern. Management also continues to review new investment opportunities.
