It mentions Microsoft Sphere. Does anyone know which presentation it was taken from? TIA.

some Q&A for Microsoft from analysts, towards the end of this link, about Azure and Azure Sphere (to launch at year-end)

Azure still very successful..

Revenue from the Intelligent Cloud segment was $9.6 billion, increasing 23% and 20% in constant currency, with better-than-expected results in both our on-premises and Azure businesses.

Server products and cloud services revenue increased 26% and 24% in constant currency, driven by continued strong Azure revenue growth of 89% and 85% in constant currency. Azure per-user services performed ahead of expectations with our enterprise mobility installed base growing 55% year-over-year to over 82 million.

Some great links there KK.

It's interesting that the CTO of a security giant like Thales boldly calls out his company's link with and reliance on little old DA/Keyscaler, and Comodo feature a significant amount of web column inches on DA/Keyscaler in their latest IOT Security infographic.

Contrast this with Microsoft and Intel who still can't quite bring themselves to give credit where it's due, their online iOT Security articles generally making only vague references to "unnamed partners" despite both companies reliance on these very partners for key intellectual property components within their products. So are Microsoft and Intel storing up a potential issue?

Customers of Thales and Comodo are left in no doubt what's "under the bonnet" of their IoT Security solutions, with both companies clearly leveraging the DA/Keyscaler link and its unique benefits in their product marketing. Indeed, those well enough informed in IoT security matters may already see something of an industry standard emerging (we saw it first of course).

In contrast (and as Andbrea has alluded to previously), Microsoft and Intel seem to be taking their typical "white-labelling" track, integrating and embedding partner IP as their own within their respective IoT markets under deals the partner companies dare not talk about for fear of NDA repercussions.

I see this potentially backfiring on Microsoft and Intel as the "Keyscaler Inside" approach Thales and Comodo are adopting begins to stick with their customers who, on subsequent dealings with Microsoft / Intel, may start demanding the same industry standard performance and protection for their IoT projects, forcing MS/Intel to reveal all. Now that'd be a blue day!
