Director Deals - Tern Plc (TERN). Bruce Leith, Executive Director, has transferred in 2,900,000 shares in the company on the 10th January 2018 at a price of 1.25p. The Director now holds 8,857,233 shares....

It's easy not to hear from it- use the filter button. I occasionally have a look, but it's still the same old rinse and repeat parroting of the stance from the rancid end of share trading. If the twit hasn't wised up by now it never will. It can't say it hasn't been helped out by some excellent research on here, and news elsewhere. Too busy furiously spamming away to see beyond the end of it's nose. It's wasting it's time, money, and oxygen.

With Thales targeting £600Bn market with DA and this being a single verticle and single investment of terns (Tern has many other investments potential to be as good as DA), Astonishing to see share price at 10s millions still. Matter of time...

securing medical data is not a nice to have, it's a must have and is legislated..

I expect very strong take up from Thales/DA solution where 70% of the market reports breaches !!

We have seen how the HSM (a security module) is the thing the major vendors (IBM Cloud, Intel, Accenture) really need, going forward.

Looks like Microsoft Azure IOT has launched last week as well. Guess who provides Device Provisioning and Authentication?

“Azure IoT Edge is a logical extension of Azure IoT platform. It takes advantage of services such as Device Provisioning Service to provision tens of thousands of devices securely. The built-in Security Manager acts as a well-bounded security core for protecting the IoT Edge device and all its components by abstracting the secure silicon hardware. ODMs can choose to harden the platform through Hardware Security Modules (HSM).”

Furthermore, Microsoft’s Intelligent Cloud unit revenues, which comprise its rapidly growing Azure segment, climbed roughly 17% to reach $7.79 billion.



Time to launch from partnership announcements is getting quite short now.

Microsoft is also expanding its Azure Certified for IoT program to certify device management, security, and other capabilities of IoT devices.

"As we evolve toward a world of ubiquitous computing, the design of the IoT solution spanning hardware, edge, and cloud must be consistent and secure to drive real impact," George says.

and:

Automatic device management (ADM), another security addition to Azure IoT Edge, enables scaled deployment of IoT Edge modules to a collection of devices based on each product's metadata. When a machine with the appropriate metadata joins a group, ADM implements the correct modules so the device is properly configured.

"With these additions, a company using the Azure IoT Hub or third-party solution can develop, deploy, and manage an end-to-end IoT solution on the Azure IoT platform," Fauscette adds.

DPM allows administrators to set up connected devices in the field and provision them all at once — theoretically “thousands” at a time, Microsoft said. The Azure IoT Edge security manager lets device manufacturers implement their choice of hardware security module (i.e., plug-in cards and external devices that perform cryptoprocessing and protect against data theft). Meanwhile, automatic device management (ADM) allows users to deploy Azure IoT Edge modules — the containers that run Azure services or custom code — to devices over the air.

Microsoft shares have returned 16.8% year to date, substantially outperforming the industry’s 14.1% rally. This outperformance can primarily be attributed to its rapidly expanding efforts in AI and Internet of Things (“IoT”) based developments. Undisturbed focus on Azure remains a key catalyst.

Its amazing (to me) that KeyScaler is the preferred architect (for the bits that they specialize in) (but as yet unnamed for doing so) of the newly launched Azure IoT Edge Security Manager (not to mention: device provisioning management (DPM) and automatic device management (ADM)), in a Cloud field for MS with revenues (per quarter!!!) of $7.79 billion (iii) ... yet Tern still gets priced at a mkt cap of £50m ..
'Undervaluation' doesn't suffice as a word here. It's TOTALLY off the scale.....

Yesterday we had a stock squeeze at approx. 14:30 hrs. before TERN plc share price moved off lows.

Today that stock squeeze at approx. 09:10 hrs.
