What I said in that post is from what Al Sisto said in the first Q&A. They wanted a startegic investor and thought they had one, it didn't happen.

As for the USCP ask Jimmy Sommerville from Share Prophets, he has said on more than one occasion that the USCP Offer was closed (when the price was at it's lows).....Now it suits the bear argument to have it still open as the price has risen. You can't have it both ways, if it closed then when did they re-open it?

I am sure DA would be open to a strategic investor coming on board still, whether they would offer so much of the company or need so much money is up for debate. However I think that TERN, ALP and George Samenuk are happy to fund DA for the moment and increase their stakes while doing so.

It all depends on when they plan to sell DA and part of that is down to when bidders come a'calling....The other thing is launches are now happening and although I am sure they will start small, the ramp up in revenues could be impressive and again only they will know how that will affect the need for funds.

DA is a UK Company, the USCP was done in the States to get a US strategic partner, if they really needed money they could allow UK investors to invest directly in DA. That would give certain tax benefits to any investor and also be without the 20% fund charge, US tax treatment and admin. I am sure if they need £2m ($2.5m first close) they could get it, they have however already raised $2.436m through CLNs with existing investors including TERN.

Brucie5,I won't lie about my position but don't feel obliged to provide details either. All I will say is that it is not a large short position relative to the size I would normally take as there is no borrow. If I could get borrow, I would increase it substantially.I don't know how many times I have to say it but DA funding is definitely open. Apart from anything else, TERN themselves would have to announce its closure as it is material to them.You really have to look at the credibility of those that say the DA offering is not open, and decide for yourself who is lying.

Shak, mind sharing with us how much short you are? Given that johnma has had declarable interest here, how much is yours worth? Won't surely make any difference to the truth in question, but would help clarify the extent to which you may be protecting an equivalent position.

In the meantime perhaps you could refute Dave's point? uSCP is closed..? Straightforward question to which there must be a verifiable answer..?

Dave, I am trying to get to the truth of the matter. It seems to me that neither side is interested in that aspect. Clearly Shaq must risk buying back his short at higher levels, if there's a squeeze. Conversely, noone has answered his point about the USCP valuation. Will you now do so? I imagine what Shaq, log & riot now plan is a gradual avalanche of distressed sales, from holders with substantial holdings. Johnma is clearly their main object because he holds ao many. This tension will be resolved one way or other. Surely the best way to put doubts to rest is to answer the nagging questions. Is the USCP still open, and does it suggest a disparity in pricing?

Dave, that wouldn't surprise me at all. Today's news is the first major launch of many. Device Authority will also bring other partners to launch and add new partners in the coming weeks and months. And all the while their take out value is increasing. All fun and games at the moment but the games stop the day that the RNS drops that tells us Device Authority has been sold. There will be many on the wrong side on that morning. Device Authority will be sold. Of that there is no doubt. Every product launch and every new partner added brings that day ever closer. Don't be surprised if the buy out price is already agreed pending certain milestones or external circumstances. One possibility is that Thales will make an offer as soon as their acquisition of Gemalto has cleared regulatory approvals in July. Apart from the direct strategic importance of Keyscaler to Thales and Gemalto I'm sure they would also be very interested in capturing more of the value chain from Comodo and the cloud with Azure, Intel SDO etc. It's a racing certainty . I've seen more than enough already to know that a sale will be worth multiples of today's share price There will be loads of news prior to that which will only serve to prove that. Holding for the big payday.
