I suspect there are large buys to be shown at some point. Insti’s and big players can dictate the price they want to pay. Price is dropped to accommodate. Seen it happen before. Once they have their fill the price will rise. Just my view.

Also with an acquisition there is a motivation for the co to collude. With a sell not at all.
