22/6/2018 11:09 | And? It is balance of risk and reward. As another poster said, good companies cannot be trashed by short selling - business activities operate independently of the share price. | monte1
22/6/2018 11:09 | Shorters heading towards the poor house waving a placard GIVE MONEY TERN SHORTER | sweepie2
22/6/2018 11:06 | It’s the cost of taking the position, you only pay a loan fee then trash the company. Share holders in the main pay the ticket price! So I bought 275k shares yesterday for £80k,to borrow those shares and sell them in the market would have been 10-15% of that! Pay a few muppets at the minimum wage to trash the BBs aka the loon next door........ | aja5

22/6/2018 11:00 | Thales must be perfectly aware of the Comodo news being announced next week and today's blue print news with Thales really does highlight the device authority product. No one should ignore the signs it's all there. | bobdown2
22/6/2018 10:59 | riot222 Jun '18 - 10:49 - 103621 of 103624 0 0 1 Checking the comodo page they have tons of partners too. What strikes me is this is a platform for DA to try and marmet their software. " Marmet " isn't that what you put on your soldiers LMAO ! What a twonk. | tracy_moore
22/6/2018 10:55 | #103619 Eh? Not sure I follow. The shares in circulation are the shares in issue irrespective of where they are. Regarding liquidity - if you want to buy, and there are insufficient shares available for purchase how would this affect the price? As a shorter you are exposed to risk that exceeds the share price as a buyer (buy a 10p share max loss is 10p, short a 10p share and theoretical loss is a multiple of this) you also need to provide collateral or bond to protect the stock lender in the event that the trade goes against you. | monte1
22/6/2018 10:53 | The medical sector will just be the first target market for Thales imho.. If you have the best product you want it all.. | still waiting
22/6/2018 10:52 | Still maintain the Thales deal will be worth over £1.00 alone to the TERN price..Tern PLC (LON:TERN) shares soared over 20% higher in early trade on Friday after it revealed that preliminary marketing of Thales' healthcare Internet of Things (IoT) security blueprint, developed in conjunction with investee firm Device Authority (DA) has commenced. The AIM-listed tech specialist investment company, which has a 56.8% holding in the IoT security firm, said this represents a significant milestone for DA following the formation of its strategic partnership with France's Thales Group announced on 24 January 2018. | siddle
22/6/2018 10:49 | Checking the comodo page they have tons of partners too. What strikes me is this is a platform for DA to try and marmet their software. Comodo acting like Amazon marketplace. And comodo news is worthless | riot2
22/6/2018 10:49 | Just look at the advisors of DA hxxps://www.deviceau | ntbb
22/6/2018 10:48 | You two really believe that don’t you !!! Please tell me how the so called added liquidity helps genuine share holders/investors? When I invest in a company I look at the shares in circulation, thatR You need a fraction of the capital to go short than you do to go long, that’s a fact. Hardly a level playing field is it ? Appointing himself judge jury and executioner! Using the very same methods he’s criticised the LTHs but in reverse. And while he has received some unsavoury critique he has more than retaliated with the same vigour | aja5
22/6/2018 10:48 | TERN plc struck oil over 18 months ago in Device Authority and KeyScaler. Like oil KeyScaler has been refined over the last 18 months with updated version launches and bespoke applications to embed in partner solutions. The products of refining that oil include petrol and diesel that power billions of commercial and domestic vehicles across the globe. KeyScaler product protecting billions of devices and data for global customers right now. The protection of devices and data is the new oil. 4th industrial revolution. #poundsnotpence | ebomber
22/6/2018 10:46 | If DA have a product which is vital to Thales, and they have, then the opinions of bb posters and the scribblings of financial journalists are actually somewhat irrelevant. You have heard it from Thales. If you won't believe a blue chip with no axe to grind then it's unlikely anything can convince you. | mike routhorn
22/6/2018 10:45 | AIM's valuation of tern will be in denial till DA gets bought out. I think we all realize that. | andrbea
22/6/2018 10:44 | Also there will be an update from Wyld, (well over due) and FVR are in USA this month launching so I would hope to see some form of update from them probably next month Exciting times | sweepie2
22/6/2018 10:43 | Shorters posting more means its getting painful! | wardy333
22/6/2018 10:40 | After Comodo comes out will have to see if I can find out when the Intel launch is or though I suspect that it is already been or is being rolled out as we speak | sweepie2
22/6/2018 10:39 | Fair enough chapv - until you get to the last sentence. I am not, nor ever have been, short of Tern (or long for that matter) any shorting I have ever done is in SB form not naked shorting. However, short selling often provides much needed liquidity to a market and in many cases will allow you to buy cheaper than if shorting did not occur. It also provides income to the share lenders. On saying all that the current position is that, there appears very little retail appetite for shorting as indicated by IG client data. | monte1 |
