LONDON & DÜSSELDORF — 27 March, 2025–Cumulocity, a leader in IoT device management and connectivity, and Device Authority, a pioneer in automated identity security for IoT/OT, today announced a strategic technology partnership to deliver end-to-end security, data management, and observability for connected devices. With this partnership, customers benefit from a streamlined and secure IoT experience, including:
Automated and Scalable Security – Device Authority’s KeyScaler® provides automated identity lifecycle management, ensuring strong authentication and policy-driven security enforcement for connected devices. End-to-End Data Management – Cumulocity’s platform enables real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and data-driven insights, all while maintaining stringent security standards. Regulatory Compliance & Zero Trust Security – The joint solution supports compliance with global security regulations, including GDPR, HIPAA, IEC 62443, and FDA requirements for medical devices while implementing zero trust principles across IoT environments. As IoT adoption accelerates across industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, and critical infrastructure, organizations face mounting concerns over data integrity, device security, and regulatory compliance. The integration of Cumulocity and Device Authority’s solutions ensures seamless device onboarding, lifecycle management, and complete data protection – empowering enterprises to scale their IoT deployments with confidence.
“We are excited to partner with Device Authority to provide a comprehensive solution that secures connected devices from the ground up,” said Bernd Gross, CEO of Cumulocity. “Together, we’re enabling organizations to deploy IoT at scale without compromising on security, visibility, or operational efficiency. This partnership directly addresses critical security challenges our enterprise customers face today."
Darron Antill, CEO of Device Authority, added: “The explosive growth of IoT devices creates significant security vulnerabilities that traditional approaches cannot address. By integrating our KeyScaler platform with Cumulocity’s robust device management capabilities, we’re creating a seamless security framework that protects the entire device lifecycle—from initial identity provisioning to decommissioning̵2;while supporting the operational agility organizations need.”
Working alongside strategic partners such as Microsoft, the partnership will continue to evolve with planned enhancements including expanded edge security capabilities, AI-powered threat detection for IoT devices, and simplified compliance reporting designed to meet emerging global IoT security standards. The companies are also developing a joint security operations center (SOC) reference architecture to help organizations monitor and respond to IoT security events in real-time.
This combined set of solutions is now available to enterprises looking to strengthen their IoT security posture and streamline device management at scale. Both companies will be demonstrating these integrated capabilities together at Hannover-Messe, the industry’s leading conference on industrial technologies March 31-April 4 in Hannover, Germany.

The wage bill here for what is needed is far too high and a big drag on resources, costs need to be cut starting with the CEO, a few Years ago he was at best division one never quite made the Premier league, now would struggle to play Sunday league. They appear to have given up, they could of told the markets about T/M visit to U/S new tool by D/A etc etc etc, they are not interested in lifting values here only destroying value with cheap placings. The investees keep me in here, certainly not anything to with Tern management, whom I believe are more interested to keep the gravy train going here then improve the S/P. We await results to see what pay offs Payne and Howarth got, neither of them deserved anything they got while employed here and you can include the ex board member who went on to run Konektio in that as well. We need some decent news from somewhere a bid for Tern above £20 million would be grabbed by many here, sick to death of the pathetic apathy here shown by Sisto and Co. |
