I have just had a reply back off DigiCert support team who were only to happy to converse. confirming all certificates issued and certificate mamagement are powered by Device Authority's Keyscaler

Q for myself..... entitled 'DigiCert Auto-Provisioning for IoT Devices Powered by Device Authority'.... is this solution still valid and in issue?

A DigiCert support person answered: ....Sorry for the delayed response, we checked in with our product team to get an accurate answer. Yes, this solution is still valid and in issue. Let us know if you have any more questions!
