Brian (EPS) confirms:
together with DA we offer 3 different types of secure provisioning services.

We see the Keyscaler Device Management platform (the blue/orange cigar box) CENTRAL to the authentication service flow chart and OTA (over-the-air) updates.

So EVERY device (of the devices managed by EPS Global, across its portfolio of global chipmakers...). Think Renesas, NXP, Infineon, Cypress Semiconductor, ....

My take: Just as Azure Sphere don't do the steps 3-5, it's the same story at EPS

KS is the cloud services platform. the Cloud services are on the right
A 'chip to cloud' scenario, as you will

Device Authority’s KeyScaler platform provides an automated solution to provision unique certificates, signed by a pre-configured Certificate Authority, to IoT devices – without requiring any human intervention. In addition to the code signing and update delivery solution, Device Authority has created a new Certificate Authority service connector for the Venafi Platform. This will allow KeyScaler customers to use the Venafi Platform as a source for certificate issuance to fully protect their machine identities.

Imagine they created the fleet with AWS two years ago and have a world wide fleet that's already managed through AWSnfleet management for IOT and secured using industry standard certificate using PKI.Now there's a thought.

Imagine you're a potential IoT customer, with a disconnected fleet of (unsecured) devices, over several continents. Prone to malware attacks.

And the local branch of the global system integrator (Wipro/Tech Mahindra) put the leaflet from DA (their partner of the last 2 years) under your nose showing the 'orange sauce' solution of Keyscaler, to automate the device lifetime management of your IoT devices, ... with an eye-catching FIDO logo to boot.

I think there will be some investor / trading positioning for the May 4th presentation:-

"Tern's management and management from certain of Tern's portfolio companies will be hosting an online presentation and Q&A session at 5.30 p.m. BST on Tuesday 4 May 2021."

My feeling is we will get news of an IPO or significant investment in one or more of the portfolio companies.

I think there is some form of embargo on releasing news for DA and they will be one of the "certain of Tern's portfolio companies" presenting.

Even the wording about the presentation makes things unnecessarily opaque indicating something significant is going on behind the scenes that will be revealed in due course. Instead of being vague about "certain companies" why not be specific and say "management will be joined by DA / FVR"? I think it's an embargo of news relating to a planned IPO for Device Authority.

So many other clues as well flagging up the prospect of very significant developments probably coming fairly imminently:-

The trading pattern showing controlled accumulation.
The PR team's vast experience in IPO's.
The previous reference by AS to IPO's as a means of realising value.
Tern's silence about DA's pivotal involvement with multinationals in providing a global solution to the IOT security issue.
Tim's emphatic clarification that no placing is planned in the foreseeable future.

It all leads to the likely fairly imminent prospect of either third party investment, a complete sale or a release of some of Tern's holding for an IPO with one of the portfolio companies.

Before I was thinking it might be FVR that would IPO first but I'm starting to think it may well be Device Authority.
