Agree Ridicule (post 237593). Vaccinations are only a part of what is needed. It will help people avoid serious illness in people who get Covid but other measures managing the way we use various environments will be necessary. No more so than in care homes because of the implications of not having effective controls. Will lead to safer places as pinch points are addressed, access to different environments are managed and to better care as treatment is monitored and delivered.

The trolls have been spouting that vaccinations will close the market in care home protection for wyld. The links below show that far from it, protection of care home residents is seen as critical and vaccines are not seen as the total solution. The trial ‘Protect’, covering some 400 care homes across the whole of the United Kingdom is designed to analyse the effectiveness of drugs in preventing the worst symptoms of COVID-19. Surely Wyld with their offering currently being rolled out across seven or eight Scottish care homes can offer an enhanced recording capability, to reflect and record the environment in which the drugs are applied, as well as hosting a database record of their effectiveness. I hope they are talking to the ‘Protect’ trials team to see if they can be of assistance in conjunction with Ascom.

While the partnership with Wyld Networks will focus on making the technology more accessible to care homes and healthcare, the contract will also see Ascom support its enterprise customer base – spanning retail, hospitality, industrial and manufacturing settings – in leveraging new opportunities with mobile mesh technology.

Much happier here than I was a couple of months ago. Been in for a few years, always believed but this time it feels less hype and based on genuine progress that is put out by the investee companies (thankfully also posted here). Been some steady progress recently, happy with that and looking forward to seeing further share price improvement.

Be good to see the 12-15p as the baseline, the 20p, 50p and pounds that some predict welcome to come along too but steady progress in the right direction fine by me with 12-15p as the base..

Hopefully a nice week and couple of months ahead.
