Could it be WTV that they are in talks with, as the tax losses would be worth a good part of the takeover price.

never had much faith in theories, triangles and anything else, even charting is dangerous-----------to many imponderable influence as we can see with TAL. Nevertheless still a strong holder.

as a novice investor, can someone enlighten me as to why this share has been recommended as a buy when the CEO dumped a huge amount of shares only recently? I was lead to believe that if a CEO sells out a load of shares it is a sign to watch and perhaps get out yourself. Can I pull on any of you experienced investors for some extra education here? Appreciate it!

nearly three months on and still a screaming buy, no bb chat on this, is that because it's all so plain sailing and obvious?

Ten Alps Communications "buy," target price raised

LONDON, April 4 (newratings.com) - Analyst Alan Howard of Canaccord Adams reiterates his "buy" rating on Ten Alps Communications (LSE: TAL.L - news)
(ticker: YE4), while raising his estimates for the company. The target price has been raised from 63p to 80p.

In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that the acquisition of McMillan-Scott, a leading UK contract publisher, positions Ten Alps Communications to capitalize on the opportunities offered by the expected shift in public sector communications from paper to online and digital TV. The EPS estimate for FY07 has been raised by 3% to 4.26p.

Ten Alps subsidiary Blakeway has secured a raft of commissions including a two-hour BBC1 special marking the fifth anniversary of 9/11, writes Helen Groom.

The untitled show - a co-production between the BBC, Discovery USA, RTL, and France 2, in association with Dangerous Films - will seek to present a "definitive account" of the events of the day using interviews, analysis and dramatic reconstructions. Denys Blakeway and Richard Dale will executive produce.

Meanwhile Summers of O, a 4 x 60-minute series for BBC2, will look at one defining summer from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. For example, one year will be 1997, looking at the impact of Labour's general election win. The series will broadcast in May.

Blakeway is also making a 6 x 60-minute series for Channel 4, called War of the World. Presented by Niall Ferguson, the series will seek to answer why the 20th century was so bloody. It will air in June.

The indie has also won a commission for a second series of Hidden Treasure Houses for Five, starting in May. Blakeway will executive produce all three series.
