Has anyone else noticed how the Telegraph is trying to single-handedly promote doom and gloom in the media?
Virtually every piece they write nowadays is laced with bitterness and negativity.
Did they not approve of a coalition govt and this is a fit of pique?

They've always had a few 'bad news' hunters like Conway but it looks like there has been a directive to all journalists to try and undermine the govt and the economy with everything they write.

Employing all their tricks now.See how any sell order is broken down into tiny trades to impact on SETS.

If the sellers keep feeding SETS with tiny trades it can dictate the direction and that is where we are at the moment.

You can only hold the price up if someone is buying all the shares that are being sold. lol

HMV has also seen a big drop today (8% down) but share price has not regained any of the losses yet.

So how does someone hold the price up ?

Please let me know, so I can hold the price up too and sell into it.

looks like someone is holding the price up and selling into it, all those shares bought earlier this morning. Could see lower price later again.

Anyone know why there are trades which dont show their type, such as "AT" or "O"

Many large trades just blank ? very odd.

Been a lot of 750000,600000,250000,100000 trades going through without a trade marker in addition to the regular 10000 trades.I'm expecting a holdings update from someone soon as the frequency of those relatively large trades is unusual.

Of course we could hope that it is an overhang they are trying to clear through before a leg back up.
