I'm not a chartist but just picked this up for what it's worth:

Taylor Wimpey PLC forms bullish "Engulfing Line" chart pattern
Sep 01, 2014

Recognia has detected an "Engulfing Line (Bullish)" chart pattern formed on Taylor Wimpey PLC (TW.:LSE). This bullish signal indicates that the stock price may rise from the close of 115.20.

Tells Me: The recent downtrend is due to reverse, now that buying pressure has overwhelmed prior selling pressure. Following a clear downtrend, we see two candlesticks where the white real body of the second completely envelops the black real body of the first, showing that the bulls have taken over from the bears.

on your side :))

badmumba, we all get 'stuck' with something don't we LOL. The
danger is here with TW is they are building over 12.000 houses a
year (up with and in front of) some other major builders, the
shares could take off if the suits decide that is due to happen. I
wouldn't like to miss the next up move as it could be the one we
have been waiting for.....fingers crossed it won't be too long :-)

Fund managers back at their desks next week, after the summer
holidays, buying starts for the fourth quarter. Housebuilders,
telecoms, top the list for value.

I'll be back in under 110p , this seems to be trading in a range
,one that i was stuck in last time having bought too high ..

Share price is very disappointing regardless of not always helpful
newspaper articles. On past results we ought to be around 130p now.

Most new builds around my area are selling before a brick is laid.
There is no doubting demand, or affordability, when you consider
the tougher mortgage lending rules.

Poor Daily Mail article as usual.

Title completely contradictory with the first sentence: "Only one
in 25 homes sold last month exceeded the asking price."

That's very healthy does not apply to new build, development near
me just released by Crest Nicholson, mostly all reserved in no
time.

about 96th FTSE All share by market value. Must have good shot at the FTSE 100 with this tailwind. We shall see...next review in September

If it reaches 90th by market value it will be automatically in the FTSE 100

This is why bbs are invaluable!
