I am not so sure this time round.

Anecdotal evidence coming out of London and the South East and South West of England suggests a residential housing price correction is already underway as asking prices show signs of at best being static whilst actual selling prices show rising discounts to those asking prices.

As positive as the TW. management are about future prospects, market forces will only be willing to reward the share price if TW. can show that its margins of profitability are outperforming any residential property market correction in its key regions of exposure.

Always the same with TW. sell a month before May and buy a month before St Ledgers Day. Next week this will be "controlled" on a steady rise

And for FTSE100 index constituents to be replaced any new entrant must be 90th or higher in the listing by market capitalisation whilst the entrant being replaced must be 110th or lower at the end of the day of the index review.

As previously discussed the HFs are in complete control of the price and imo they can make more from shorting at this time of year!

Unfortunately there are so many shares in circulation TW shorts do not show up on the FCA spreadsheet!

Pretty much everything positive except for a slipping customer satisfaction rating! Great results and nice to see a housebuilder share price respond positively to great results for once.

I think the long term outlook is good but short to medium is a political football and could go either way!

I am expecting Taylor Wimpey tomorrow to say...."the Daily Mail is right no one wants to buy a home.. people are instead choosing to live on the street... everything is a disaster".... now what is the symbol for sarcasm..

Confidence in the housing market has tumbled to its lowest level in at least three years amid fears of over-inflated prices and a potential rises in interest rates.
Across the country, the net balance of people who believe the next year will be a good time to buy a home has plunged to 5pc from 34pc in the end of the first three months of the year, according to Halifax's quarterly Housing Market Confidence tracker.
