The stock Muncher is a pro. He is telling you 27p is a good target to buy.

Just IMHO, but the uk is in a recession.

Not nice if you're waiting to get back in...

No news that I know - there was a BDEV RNS this morning about an exec leaving immediately, for whatever reason. Big leap to thinking he may be going to TW.?

There is just no pleaseing some....
"The UK is building only around half the homes the population needs. This is a good thing for Taylor Wimpey as it means even though mortgages are hard to come by, there are still enough buyers for its properties. The firm is also beginning to benefit from having bought cheap land after the crash of 2008, from which it makes more profits. Neither of these factors is enough for a buy recommendation though. Taylor Wimpey trades at around 80% of net asset value, Tempus believes this is simply "up with events" so leave for now."

See...selling more houses...making more profit...not all its cracked up to be is it..clearly ??

Peel Hunt has reiterated its 'sell' recommendation for Taylor Wimpey saying that while Wednesday's trading statement was broadly in line, the house builder appears more cautious than its peers.

Good, but not outstanding trading statement - in line with expectations I would think, with small increases in volumes, prices and margins (which they make up anyway, thanks to their dubious accounting for write-backs of previous exceptional provisions)...

Exceptional credit on deferred tax and interest, which would be good, except we already knew about it, and it is to be absorbed with yet another pension deficit adjustment - for shareholders, those final salary schemes are a millstone.

And then there's Spain, which they continue to describe as 'challenging'. It's not challenging, it's a disaster - 13 homes at £172k versus 30 homes at £266k, (and that comparative was bad enough) is an indication of how bad things must be there.

Anway, hoping for a pullback, in case that wasn't obvious...

Hmmmmm, shame I sold the lot for 48 and bits on Friday (but at least that was better than selling them all for 46 and bits in the middle of June, which I also managed before seeing it get to 49 intraday).

Very good volatility - now need another plunge, still a nice gap at just above 45...

ichimoku has a bear signal on the 17th July. Obviously, fundamentals can change that but i have to say, ichimoku is reasonably accurate.

So, lets hit 55p at least by the 17th :)

Agree the daily is said to be the one to go by, but not all play by the Marquess of Queensberry rules..

The daily could be a c&h?

SHAWS, Jibba Jabba, i dont see any gaps on the daily charts , only at 37.5 from a while back. I dont think 60min chart gaps are relevant for gap filling as we understand it. Thats not to say it wont drop that far though.

SP could fall over the first couple of week of July then rise ready for the half year report beginning of August. just a guess.
