The country is slowly getting back on its feet. House builders are back. McDonalds are reopening. Footballers are back in training and flights are about to restart in a few weeks.

All we need now is for our local snooker clubs to reopen and we can then get back to something approaching normality ;-)

jugears - I'm only adding a couple of K at a time, they'll be over and above my main holding and sold off for +3% to 5% gain.

Yes we can see a Troll's Filtered post without seeing their actual comments, but when they're Filtered one cannot see any Thread's they've created, useless they're desperate enough to Pay the advfn subscription :)

As you didn't post you buy prices I can see you cannot even come close to my buy prices.

Did you have the wit to veryify buy prices I posted.

Who is the amature here I wonder...?

Not the foggiest about when to buy or indeed sell a property...

Go back to monopoly with the kids or your grandkids and leave share trading to those who are more adept at it...

I scooped up during and after the last crash and am now cash rich but looking to invest in mainland europe stocks.

I'be been out of the UK for years but am still invested there, recently topped up my pension contributions, looking forward to a UK pension when the time arrives and basking in the sun here in Spain in the meantime.

On yer bike....

This is in big trouble with huge cash burn and half unfinished sardined paper thin walled estates and astronomical asking prices this will crash tomorrow. 75 p resistance in the coming days. Data showed U.S. homebuilding dropped by the most on record last month and permits for future construction tumbled, fuelling fears the coronavirus pandemic would lead to the deepest economic contraction in the second quarter since the Great Depression. Sell sell sell

Gaygay, usually a decline in the property market is reflected by a decline in share sectors liked to the property market...

1) Pandemic...
2) Economic fallout...

In that order...

Got it gaygay?

Tlobs2, time to get real!

Cancel the purchase of the property if you can!

Watch the seller panic!

Maybe you are in too deep already and can't back out...

tlobs,

It is fantastic to see the humanity that has shown throughout this crisis...
Can't argue with that...

Millions of people have come together to help...

But economics and humanity are 2 different things..

"My daughter completes on her first house next week. She has been waiting to complete for weeks as have thousands of others over the temporary shut down period."

That's the point.. It's only a week.. Those who were near to completing will still go ahead. Was it too late for her to cancel and get any fees/deposits paid back?

I expect it will be easier for those at the start of the chain to cancel than those towards the end...

The real test will be in the weeks/months ahead as the lockdown eases further..

Currently millions of jobs are being supported by the Furlough scheme...and that can't continue forever.

You and your fellow dobbers enjoy the potential flow of bad news a and death.

Some of us have seen positives from collaboration from this across the manufacturing base. Neighbours and strangers who speak to each other in the street.

The reliable supply of toilet rolls..... despite warning from you and your fellow dobbers that we were going to run out.

And who would have thought it, food on the supermarket shelves. There is light at the end of the tunnel if you are prepared to look for it.

Dare to be different. Dump your dobber instinct and come back tomorrow with a more positive outlook in life. Studies have shown that if you do that you will live longer...
