Happy weekend to the unfiltered.
Looks like being a few degrees warmer now and next week.
Lets hope it it kills enough germs to help the exponential growth tail off.

I for one will sleep fine, knowing that I have done my very best to warn what is upon as.

A financial depression.

You can’t steal money from future generations without a dreadful outcome .

This company and its shareholders have been extremely greedy for the last 8 years ,

TW Brags about massive payouts in in reports and accounts in its 2019, to be handed out in 2020 ( long before they hoped to make them. !!

They have ripped of the U.K. govt.

They stitched up first time buyers ( leasehold )

The build quality is shocking

Quite right. Those who crow and pontificate about TW. and other housebuilders falling into the abyss don't seem to recognise that they won't be able to sleep smugly in their beds if their apocalyptic visions come to pass.

Chaps, either we will get back to normal in the near future or it will be utter chaos / war. What good will your cash be then? Stay the course, believe in humanity

For weeks those that know best have been buying this stock.

The result is what we see today.

The only reason you want this share is for a dividend

The only thing your going to get, is a Rights issue / placing

I managed to convince the wife during lunch time to buy TLW with the money we kept for the holidays spending, though is in July, we may won't be able to go as the things are currently.

Yes as a first step, however it may not be enough for some. A lot depends
on how long this lockdown lasts.

There is though a view that once the lockdown and restrictions end, everything
just reverts to as before within a few months. That is very unlikely to happen imv.

The leftover will be recession and at least a 2 year plus recovery timeframe,
that may be on the optimistic side. All imv only.

Good question and one l think is hard to answer. That's why it's prudent to cancel dividends to shore up the balance sheet.

An overlooked issue atm ..are many companies going to need to raise cash
through issuing extra shares and in so doing diluting existing shareholders.
We've already seen a number of share placings this week.

EssentialInvestor,

I'm certainly not saying the world is ending, although others might be.

I'm saying the HB's are going to have very hard times for the foreseeable future and nothing I can currently see changes that view. They certainly haven't bottomed, that will take a while.

But please, I'm always open to realistic views, not this "V shaped recover" nonsense.

When you get idiots on here saying, "oh my Wimpey site is building" or "I'm really busy" it means absolutely Sweet Fanny Adams to what the future holds for HB's.
