Well the update mentions the ship stuck in Black Sea remains on charter and insured. So presume the insurance date is aligned with the charter period (which is not given). What happens at end of charter period will depend on situation there then - as will be possibility for insurance renewal at whatever rate. Encouraging update but slightly concerned at the boat stuck in the Black Sea port. Does marine insurance cover damage from war risks? How easy would it be to renew cover if this turmoil extends to the next renewal date? Apologies for the basic questions!

Fairly encouraging investor call this morning on TMIP's 24.8% holding in Grindrod, a complementary business owning 25 bulk carriers. Suggests they acquired their major stake at effective discount of at least 30% to NAV and an effective yield of 16%. Financed partly by disposal of two non-core TMIP ships at almost 100% IRR.

Quiet on here for sure but obviously not in the charter market! 24% uplift to NAV in the quarter and more to come you would imagine.Forecast of beating the dividend target by year end in the first year of trading and further strengthening of charter rates was very nice to see.

Indeed I did mean in say in to triple figures .... the yields on the shorter term charters are indeed interestingly good :-)

You mean triple figures? ?But yeah these yield levels are eye popping. First results will be very interesting, esp. to get their view on what the forward income stream level looks like.Off to a very strong start here.
