Posted at 05/4/2024 08:53 by scr1 They plan to delist Grindrod by paying a premium to shareholders, given Taylors hold most of the shares anyway . Delisting will save a lot of money as well as simplifying the structure of the company. Very good news for Taylor Maritime holders and indeed Grindrod holders who should bank a nice profit. Grindrod shares give no dividend and most shares hold by Taylors so were not going to move much so the whole thing makes good sense to me |

Posted at 11/1/2024 09:10 by hindsight First look at these, and wondered are TMI and TMIP the same entity / share with different fx base ? |

Posted at 07/11/2023 17:13 by sam 4224 I think this is a real steal at the moment and keep buying. I know the board are working hard on getting the daily blended daily charter breakeven point lower by paying down the debt accrued at the time of the acquisition, and secondly continuing to get economies of scale which are starting to come through. As my biggest investment by far I keep in contact with the company and think we are in good hands with the ceo and board. I am regularly reinvesting the excellent dividend as well as adding to my holding when I can. This is a very young company but with a hugely ambitious CEO and board |

Posted at 01/9/2023 11:45 by sam 4224 Hi, then the delay is definetly a result of currency conversion as both DEC and TMIP are initially paid in dollars but then for me have to be converted into sterling to be able to go into my isa share account. But I must say I keep looking today as would be nice to get before the weekend ! Sam |
Posted at 31/8/2023 16:54 by sam 4224 Hi, I have held shares for the same period. Up until April I held them with interactive investor. The dividend was paid on the due date always but I held the shares in dollars. In April I moved the shares to HL so I could hold them in sterling. The first dividend was paid on the due date but not this one. I spoke to other HL investors and they say dividends often go in one or even two days late. As I only have taylors with HL and indeed only asked about Taylors I do not know if it is just Taylors that seem to have this delay. Not sure this helps but others may know something. Sam |
