25/11/2021 13:20 | Sal, given that TATE will be debt free, combined with the valuation case I've briefly mentioned above, would hope downside is limited from here - unless wider markets sell off. But never say never, etc. | essentialinvestor
25/11/2021 12:00 | Recently took a stake at 675, a little disappointed with the renewed weakness. The near future looks pretty good but I guess the market is just saying that it remains to be convinced which is a similar scenario to other stocks I currently hold. | salpara111
25/11/2021 11:10 | Market cap bang on £3 BN now, £500 million of this back on the capital return in H1 2022. FY final divi around then for approx 11 pence a share That leaves a £2.5 BN valuation for a business that on FY '23 PT current consensus may make £230 million - Not including potential future dividends from the primary products JV, of which Tate own a 49.9% share. On the eventual primary products jv sale, hopefully another £500 million at least on realisation value. Looks reasonable medium term risk/reward, lets see. | essentialinvestor
25/11/2021 10:27 | Same with all consumer staples atm, they will have their time when inflation eases back | spoole5
25/11/2021 10:06 | rogue, are you telling me the chart looks like a car crash technically!. If you keep chasing ambulances you eventually end up in A&E. Hopefully not in this case. | essentialinvestor
25/11/2021 08:43 | Up to a full holding now, luck to holders. XD. | essentialinvestor
25/11/2021 08:42 | I sold last week. See to much uncertainty here regarding future EPS and dividend. Should be a FTSE 250 stalwart payer but the change in strategy puts this progression in doubt in near term. Will watch and see how it pans out in 2022 GLA | tornado12
24/11/2021 14:47 | Weaker than a worn out rubber glove ATM!. XD Tomorrow. | essentialinvestor
24/11/2021 13:44 | Is this the most hated stock in the 250? Even decent results can't put a floor under it. | spoole5
22/11/2021 17:16 | May be, a tough market over the last week or so. | essentialinvestor
22/11/2021 16:51 | About to retest lows? | spoole5
18/11/2021 07:29 | Luck with your holding, should do nicely on a 2/3 year view. | essentialinvestor
10/11/2021 09:54 | Been watching for a while and bought in yesterday EI | gp1948
10/11/2021 09:34 | Getting some interest, nice. | essentialinvestor
10/11/2021 09:13 | TATE seems to have broken out of the downtrend it's been in for the last 6 months. | gp1948
08/11/2021 11:32 | On a longer term fundamentals view the current price arguably looks attractive. FY 2023 estimates at approx. 16 X earnings, Kerry Group on 27 X. This takes no account of any future dividends from Newco. Perhaps a template for a newly focussed TATE | essentialinvestor
08/11/2021 11:14 | I limit trading to 25-30% of a holding. Have added back what I sold at 6.82. | essentialinvestor
08/11/2021 09:12 | Nor the luck EI which is what trying to trade these large cap set's traded stocks basically is. Charts dont work when algo's and hedge funds are driving price. | cfro
08/11/2021 08:07 | Most of the gains on the excellent results lost. Market really does hate this stock! | spoole5
06/11/2021 13:33 | Tate has clearly set out what will happen post transaction, there is no ambiguity. However, this is not 100% until the agreement to sell 50.1% of primary products completes. on track for Q1 2022. | essentialinvestor
06/11/2021 09:18 | If they do not give any special dividend as suggested in July then near term seems a negative impact on share price and dividend. For me is not clear to me if any special will arrive !!??! | tornado12
05/11/2021 16:11 | Been mentioned elsewhere the newly focused TATE could be an early stage Kerry Group. They have very similar operating areas. Kerry has been a stunning multi decade investment. | essentialinvestor
04/11/2021 18:17 | If you look at the presentations slides to accompany the analyst call on the IR site, the CFO is clearly named as a presenter alongside the CEO, yet is was just Nick on the call. So whatever happened looks sudden and unexpected. | essentialinvestor
04/11/2021 18:00 | torn, yes as a share consolidation - detailed in the documents published recently. Hopefully longer term is looking better following today's update, whether the share price gives back some of today's gains, let's see. | essentialinvestor |
